Phenomenal story. Pushes the visual novel genre to its limits and does so spectacularly.
Recommended as long as you can put up with artistic gore.

Hilarious, highly recommend if you have silly friends who will find a horror co-op fun. Easy to pick up, i love reading through the logs and bestiary entries. Also highly recommend looking into mods that expand the lobby, the sheer chaos of 6+ person lobbies is hilarious when it isn't overwhelming

Absolutely adorable! Love this little game.

My feelings are a bit mixed admittedly. I'm still not a fan of the decision to add EAC and I don't know that I'll return to VRChat, at least not as actively as I was before EAC was added, but the team has genuinely taken a good turn since that decision in my opinion. They've listened to what we want and need, at least aside from removing EAC (but honestly they probably can't do anything about that at this point).

It's a different VRChat now for sure, but I no longer think that's totally a bad thing.

Scarlet Hollow's been with me through a few rough patches and it holds a special place in my heart for that - one I never though a horror game could hold! The artwork is beautiful, the characters are interesting, and I just love prying into the mysteries and feeling them unfold around me. Absolutely my favorite game, no question.

If you like horror, mystery, relatable and unique characters, and maybe a little optional romance, I really think you should give Scarlet Hollow a shot - even if you're not usually a visual novel person. (Plus hey, Episode One is free, so check that out if you're not sure!)

tiny crewmate to sit on your head and/or follow you around, and then we got the little wall-e type robot friend... perfection

very fun. i am obsessed with this game. probably the best $5 i ever spent. i love playing with my friends but playing with randoms is fun too, though as with most online games there are occasionally nasty or annoying people but when you're hosting a lobby you can just kick/ban them so that's nice.

edited later: i see among us as i fall asleep some nights. i'm a dream gamer. this is a good game.

A wonderful game. Multiplayer is especially fun. Overall, the game is cute and relaxing. Would definitely recommend especially to those who live in the city

gameplay is fine, it gets repetitive if you've played for a while but mods can spice that up a bit. worldbuilding is ok but the races definitely get that planet-of-hats treatment. worst offenders imo are the floran which like, i'm not an expert but "stupid bloodthirsty cannibalistic savages" as a foundation for a species is yikes as hell
