Great artwork. I enjoyed collecting the hand-made drawings from each location.
There is a lot of content in this point-and-click adventure game, though I referenced a walkthough guide many times to advance through the story.

A very good choose-your-own-adventure gamebook, with some interesting writing. As you play through the game, there are some nice touches with comic-style panel pictures, a few character stats - that effect choices, some jig-saw puzzle solving, and a couple decent synth-tunes.

The game expects multiple playthoughs - each taking a couple hours. I saw less than half the game content on my first attempt, yet, I did not play through the game again. It will be a while before I play through the game again, because it is too slow paced for me to read through that the same story.

I enjoyed learning about the "man in a hat" on an ubuntu linux desktop computer. I had no technical issues.

Anti-establishment point and click game. There are lots rough parts like out-dated references, though that adds to the charm, becauce there is a solid, 90s-era, sci-fi story here with interesting characters. It is packed with lots of voice-over dialogue.
Fought against the violence inherent in the system on an Ubuntu Linux desktop, with the Proton compatibility software. It uses the Adventure Game Studiio engine, and I had to tweak the settings - with the steam startup tool - to get it running in full-screen. Otherwise, I had no other technical issues.

Have been playing a lot of this "idle" game, lately. It has a fun adventure narrative that matches up with the game mechanics, that you learn as you progress. For example, opening the spell book opens the spell-energy recharging mechanism that requires juggling multiple recharge bars. That part reminds me of playing a healer in a multiplayer RPG. Anyway, it's no-cost, with paid options, but I've not felt any incentive to purchase an add-on in the several days of game play.

I made it through the Woods to the Academic City, on an Ubuntu Linux desktop computer. The game ran flawlessless, with the Unity Game Engine. I used primarily the mouse, but there are useful keyboard shortcuts, as well.

Edit: after playing for some tens of hours, I reached the middle of the game, where my experience changed. The quests require grinding tens of object, each with many subcomponents, that require extensive baby-sitting to complete. It is not fun to complete a quest to make something, just to unlock another quest to make 3 more, then 5 more, and then 10 more, when that requires so much attention to challenge-less screentime. So, bottom line, is that the game is only fun up to a point when the grinding is too boring.

Excellent hidden object game, with nice touches of animation and color as it progresses. Lots of hours of entertainment for the price. Good music (though it loops frequently), and the hint mechanism is perfectly balanced. We found the widdle kitties on Ubuntu Linux, with no technical issues.

Fun, light trivia for two people or three close friends (got to share a keyboard!) The questions are quite easy, though some are pop-culture references from the 90s. All in all, it's a quick activity to do on a laptop for a few minutes, and you can have a laugh or two. It worked great with Steam's Proton compatibility software.

It's easier than overcooked with upgrades to dial down the difficulty even more. Played it with two players, splitscreen on the Steam Deck & Dock. Easy to recommend for this price, and it has a demo to try.

The game has trading cards, and it doesn't cost anything. It works fine with Steam's Proton compatibility software.

Cracked the case with Steam's Proton compatibility software, on Ubuntu Linux.
This game was very, very short, but it made up for it with charming characters and writing. Sometimes that is enough.
It's mostly clicking through dialog boxes. There's not really any puzzles and even the magnifying glass is just a visual effect.
