It is an okay game. I just find it a bit on the boring side. Perhaps, like any game, it would be fun with others...I just don't want to make that the only reason it is worth playing. Especially when everyone I know has long since moved on from this.

This game is confusing, and perhaps confused. It has the feeling of wanting to be a stealth shooter, but it isn't. It wants to auto lock on things, but it also wants you to do it manually. It wants you to play it like a twin stick shooter, but the controls feel stiff. There is also inconsistencies with how enemies work. There are enemies that aren't bullet sponges. They are just anti bullet.

Level design is good. However, some things about it make no logical sense. Example being the ability to see through walls. Hearing through them I can accept. But I can see through them, and so can the enemies. How and why? I do like that there are no true dead ends in the game that can cause you to be trapped outright. There are single door rooms, but they do feel like they have a tactical reasoning to them.

Overall, I want to recommend this game, but the consistency issues, and the odd controls make this a hard one to say "Yes" to. The price is not too much, and could be a solid yes for some folks, as there is something here, Since the game is presented as a complete experience, I don't see much change to come to the game revisiting the issues described.

This is on me, so keep that in mind. I say that because I HATE SEASONAL WIPES. This is a game I saw myself building up my character, doing quests, extracting stuff, etc. I thought the first time it happened, it was a glitch. This time? I realized what happened. I missed the bullet point that said it would do resets. My bad. If I saw that when I bought the game, I wouldn't have. This is a fad that just needs to go away. What makes this worse? I actually like this damned game. I just don't have the time to invest hours upon hours a day to play seasons. I bought and paid for a game to go out and do extractions quests to build a cool character. Wipes just feel like an insult wasting my time. So, if you value the time you INVEST into a game only to see it all deleted every 2 or so months, just save your hard earned money and get a proper game that actually respects your time.

Not to difficult, can be a bit hectic with the lunch and dinner rushes. The adventure aspect is a bit...simplistic in nature, but still fun. Of all the various fantasy tavern management games out there, give this a try. It is an enjoyable experience solo, and with friends.

Not really your typical action roguelike. I like the upgrading system it has. The action comes at you hard and fast. I would like to see more playable races/creatures, but I believe the world was a human world without other types of races. Classes are varies, and come with their own perks and advantages. The differences are a bit subtle, but they do impact the type of power ups, passives, and abilities that you are offered. The optional "nudity" is really weird and pointless, but at least it is optional. It is definitely worth playing as is right now, and definitely something you should keep your eyes on. Worth the $10 US.

First off, not the most time invested just yet, but I have a good feeling here. The visuals are solid, the environments are dark and gritty. The controls are tight and very responsive. The action...oh the action. This game feels like it has a VERY specific way it wants you to play it. Then top off with weapons. I discovered a meat cleaver of a sword and it had a very different method from the sword and shield I started with. You HAD to make adjustments to the style you started with. Anyway, once you understand how the game wants you to play it, things make more sense, and you gain a sense of progression. Does it make the game easier? Nah, this is a hard as hell game. However, I just wanted to keep going back again and again. Do I wish the first few levels were a bit more forgiving so that I can dive a bit deeper to learn the game more? To maybe get some more experience and skills on my character? Of course. So keep in mind that this is not a casual, jump in and play style game. This is for those that love torture and suffering as they progress into a game.

This is a 12 year old game as of this review, and honestly it still looks pretty dang good. It also controls really well. Overall, just a fun combat racer. Is it worth the US$25? Sure. Is it more worth it on sale? Well, duh. Either way, its a fun romp.

Simplistic, arcade like, not to bad. For free, it is a game. Is it good though? Yeah, it is. Wish there was controller support...or at least good controller support.

Played the Demo from Next Fest and fell in love with this. Bought it today and sunk 3 hours into it and find the experience in solo fantastic...so far. I only say that because I am expecting the difficulty to set in sooner or later. There is a LOT of galaxy to explore here. So here it is. If you love games like Sea of Thieves and Wildgate, but are not a fan of PVP, then strap in and prepare for warp. This is all PVE with the extraction type of game play that comes with those other two. I haven't played Void Crew that a lot of folks compare this too, but I get it. Your AI bot companion is actually useful. He even jokes with you when you get in the kills before him. He is helpful during ship to ship combat. But the AI bot doesn't get in the way. The balance thus far feels pretty well polished. Everything so far is really up my alley, and just a LOT of fun. Won't lie...kind of wonder how fun it would be with some VR, but am NOT demanding it/suggesting it. The game is excellent as it is.

A little Gauntlet, a little Hammerwatch, a little quirky, a lot of fun. I have to recommend this as it is a fun, yet simple little roguelike rpg-like game. Definitely worth the price of admission.
