Oh boy...I dunno where to start.

I got a friend who's not (was not xd) into space theme, but he played all the trilogy, then played Andromeda and Outer Worlds.

I played original games long time ago so this was my second playthrough.

I'm not good with words but Imma try my best.

Also. I highly recommend to visit Nexusmods and install Community Patches. They contain literally hundreds of bugfixes and I didn't play without them so can't say much about vanilla experience. After more than 150 hours maybe I had one minor issue and I don't even remember what it was.

Best description about these games is "Space Odyssey".

It's an incredible adventure, where choices you make will follow you for the entire journey. Small decisions in first game will have consequences for some characters in ME2 and ME3. More important choices during story missions will have bigger impact and that will affect how the plot develop. For example you may finish one of the games with all companions alive or with almost all dead. Recently one dude posted screenshot which shows that he killed almost every crew member but stayed alive, which isn't an easy task :D
I guess after all that text I should mention that you import your character and decisions from one game to the next.

Shower thoughts, I'll try to keep it shorter further.
ME1 is introduction to the universe and serves it's role as exposition. You will meet a lot of different and cool races, will learn about the politics, how is society organized etc.
There's a karma system across all three games. You can make Renegade or Paragon choices. There're also karma skill checks in different conflicts which requires you to have a certain amount of points in order to success in persuasion.
It's an interesting title with a lot of mysteries and each one only produces more questions.
Visually this game was remastered but don't expect too much. Everything looked okay. I have no complaints.
Worst thing in ME1 is Mako missions. Clunky and just awful controls. All investigated planets have curved hills and most often you must cross them to investigate POI. It's just a pain even with mod.
Story is a blast. Just go and see.
Gameplay is fun, biotic is so OP in ME1.

ME2 was my favorite game among trinity.
Structure of the game is quite weird: beiggest part - companion loyalty missions. They aren't mandatory but I highly suggest to complete them.
The last story mission is one of the best things I've ever seen for past 20 years in games. Epic, badass, breathtaking. I had the chills all over my body although I already seen it. The music is so good..my favorite track from the trilogy.
Tip: postpone Tali's loyalty mission and bring Legion to the Migrant Fleet.

ME3 is my new favorite. Because of controversial ending I wanted to forget the game and never touch it again and I succeeded..in the former part.
When I replayed it recently..wow...just wow. Such an incredible atmosphere of desperation and hopelesness. The heroic pathos in ME2 and ME3 is just on another level. You can feel it and it excites every cell in you body.
Amount of different variables to solve conflicts in this game is just insane. When you don't know what you're doing, may end up a bit disappointed, but surprised nonetheless.
Gameplay wise this is my favorite game. 2nd was overtuned on Insanity and it was very big pain in the ass.

Director's cut ending of the Trilogy is ok, but I still feel bad for some characters and their fate.

I highly suggest you to check WHEN to play DLC in ME2 and ME3 because it won't make sense to complete them asap.

Best characters with no specific order: Mordin, Tali, EDI. Legion is in its own league. I also love the feud between Jack and Miranda. Joker is okay as well :)

I wish you all the best experience with this masterpiece. Just go and buy it already :)

Can't Let Go

Unfortunately and to my suprise they released roughly 1/3 of all released content and called it Season 1. Last in game day in Steam release - 8th. Most recent content they've made - Day 22 or even 23. Just cut game into pieces, like those day one dlc. Season 2 will come soon, trust me. I mean another 8 days and they even have leftover.

The game is okay. I've played it for free, if you know what I mean.

Not much to say about the story. Writing is acceptable. Every gal "dickriding" MC without any reasons to do so, but that's what you receive in harem games from time to time. Thus don't expect any rich story or incredible plot twists. There's one interesting and yet unexplained part - dreams. I'll leave you hanging, go play.

Renders look very good. Facial expressions are nice as well. Animations is the weak part. Almost always it's close up angles without faces. TL;DR not cool. It's been discussed and devs decided to choose quantity over quality. It's theirs first game, let's hope for better in the future.

Also, fast synthwave track from menu was much better. And I didn't know one of you, devs, composed all music. Kudos to you.

I'd rate it somewhere between 6.5-7/10. In any case worth trying, if you're into the genre.

Very beautiful but very very simple (not in a good way) and repetitive gameplay-wise. Combat system based around 2 (!) buttons. Make your assumptions.

Story isn't smth great either. It's short and doesn't give those vibes that EW gave. While EW's story and narrative feels like creators put their souls into it, this title can't tell the same.

Side quests are all based around evil spirits and it became kinda boring after several times.

Dialogues are okay. VA did good.

Run smoothly on RTX 2060, Ryzen 3700x at 1080p.

I was hyped af, but unfortunately, Shinji and co didn't meet my expectations.

6/10 at best.

Ugly.

Game contains roughly 5 bosses. But man, oh man...it's so stretched with insane amount of regular enemies, killing which is pretty unrewarding. Best way to play this - push to the bosses, loot all chests and shinies on the ground. Period. One location (Seat of Infinity) has the size of the rest game world combined. Huge, empty, uninteresting and when not empty filled with tonns of trash monsters.

Didn't buy/play DLC.

Combat system similar to Souls games, but healing is a different story. You can get Eredrim right away in first 5 minutes and forget about any issues. I got him much later, but no complains. It's just a fool trap. Dozens of enemies and ofc average player will take hits. It's not supposed to be cleared. You can't heal that much.

I didn't even try "Balistazooka" (?). Too expensive, plus last boss' 30% hp move ate all my Tar.

It should've stay Epic Exclusive, because it's honestly the worst and the laziest Soul-like title I've ever played. I hope there won't be a sequel to torture innocent Elden Ring converts. In any case I'm gonna skip it for sure.

The game is..idk I feel conflicted and can't get the right word. I enjoyed it, but it was pain in the ass :)

I love the graphics style, the music (kudos to composer and performers). I played on Nightmare mode. It's very punishing at the 1st and 2nd Era, maybe a bit more forgiving later. If I hear Othercide I immediately think about Darkest Dungeon and Dark Souls. Just don't ask.

I didn't like dev's decision to reset all perks each recolletion. Also stupid HUD doesn't let you use an action, for example shoot, on the enemy that on the edge of your screen. Tooltip pop up and each time you have to move the camera.

Also, play in quick mode, save's a lot of time, lose nothing.

Game is fun. Buy it. Thumb down, because of increased price. First exclusivity, now this and it's cheaper in other stores. Idk what Valve was pursuing with those recommendations, but this is a mess.

You're gonna have a feeling you're inside a cartoon. Story is like from those "for whole family" toons as well. Nothing too serious, a little bit dramatic.
Visuals and sounds are great. Truly job well done.
When Kena is fighting there's a funny sound in the middle of the combo, when she sounds like wild cat :D

Combat system is very similar to Souls games, but with small additional element - you "tp" to the enemies, while using melee, when you should be out of attack range. Similar to Arkham series, but a little more modest.

The most interesting mechanic, being introduced in Kena is Dash. But it's pretty late, despite every following boss had smth that you needed to counter with its help.

Best boss for me is Blacksmith . Sounds, visuals, vibes. Chills down my spine. Very cool.

Game isn't too big. 11+ hours. I have 14 with some side activities and maybe a bit of afk.
