I bought this thinking I was just going to try it out and get a little bit of nostalgia. I started playing and got instantly hooked. Last year I beat Half Life Alyx causing me to crave more. I am so surprised how much can change with better graphics, physics and set pieces, new chapters, all while keeping the same feel of the original. Black Mesa is definitely filling my Half Life crave this year and I plan to finish it. I recommend it for any Half Life fan or FPS fan. Now lets just get Blue Shift remade.

Here I am editing my review after learning Blue Shift has been remade. I previously finished Black Mesa and got my fulfillment, but that fulfillment didn't last long and here were are. Blue Shift is exactly what you will want and I highly recommend it. Chapter 5 just came out, I am caught up, and I will be eagerly waiting for the rest of the game to be finished.

After Blue Shift, lets get Opposing Forces remade and have the whole collection!
