Controls are all over the keyboard. Can't maintain orientation when simply looking around, so you'll be upside-down and backwards most of the time. Map is 2D for a 3D structure. Graphics are vary from near cinematic to cringe. But the PUZZLES, omg... "Upgrade your firmware so you can go outside". That means reading some paper taped to the wall in a pod somewhere. 8th grade math papers upgrade firmware for AI robots. Sure. Then you go outside and you're lost. Just a giant maze to go inspect everything and get more dizzy. Dialog is so boring too. Just makes you wanna ALT-F4 and go to sleep. I tried it sober and drunk. It was not fun either way.

Solid sequel. As good or better than first. Transitions seamlessly. If you liked the first one, you'll dig this one for sure.

All the characters are here, but throw out your expectations for plot, because this is better than any movie you've seen. Realize that it's almost entirely quicktime events, and enjoy the story. Graphics are strong, never crashed. My only real complaint is all the DLC. Combine them into a "gold" edition or something. It's been long enough to not nickle and dime us.

Edit: The Enemy Within DLC is an absolute must. It's basically the second half of the game. Shadow Mode is just a re-skin where it's all black-and-white except certain highlights.

0/12. All garbage games. Like, these should be free developer demos at least. Not one game was good. I don't care if they were made in 10 days, they are bad.

Instead of jump scares, it's got "jump wows". The art style is unique but messes with investigations. It can get old going back to older scenes while squinting for any clue to something you missed. I ended up using some online hints to finish it up. There is no other game like this, it's done well, and you'll remember it a long time. Might be fun to play with some friends to help, even. Felt like a real investigation even tho it's got a magic pocket watch and Lovecraft elements.

I love the new Doom series, and this delivers. Can't wait for part 2. However, compared to the main campaign, this one is much tougher. Battles are often confined to small areas with floors you can't walk on and cliffs you'll fall off while backing up without a perfectly timed double jump and dash. There are no new weapons, but there are some new enemies. Level design was good, and story continues tying up lots of loose ends, like who is the Seraphim and teases who Doomguy really is. I dunno if it's worth $20, but $15 for sure, since it only has three new maps.

Opening screen suggests a controller. Mine didn't work. Then the game crashed. Tried to use mouse and keyboard but it was just as bad as not having controls, so I gave up and getting a refund. It's garbage.

Fun little achievement runner. Very casual and not scary, but it's eerie and unique.

Fantastic! I played it three times (each consecutively shorter), just to unlock all the endings and achievements. I rarely do that, The graphics are gritty, and I almost requested a refund after an hour, but am so glad I didn't. I don't know how many hours I've got, but I enjoyed every minute. Finally a Lovecraft game that lives up to it's author. Amazeballs.

Holy smokes! What a fantastic narrative and story. Enjoyed every bit. There is no running from monsters or anything, but it's beautifully written, programmed, produced, everything. I voted this, "BEST STORY-RICH GAME OF 2020" on Steam.
