this game is one of the best games ever made. it looks amazing, the artstyle is great, demons look tough and menacing. the weapons all sound amazingly good and feel great to shoot. the environments are all insanely detailed and gorgeous. no two levels look or feel the same (yes, even nekravol part 1 and nekravol part 2 are different in look and feel). now the fun part, the game mechanics. all mechanics are perfectly crafted to build on each other and make the player feel like a demon killing machine. the ai is also great. all demons have specific weaknesses and strengths and the arenas and enemy placement is specifically thought out to exploit those strengths. each gun and mod is and remains useful since the moment you get them all the way to the end of the game. its clear that id software put a lot of thought and love into this game. this is truly an evolution to the genre.
