Rimworld is a game that requires you to think out your next move carefully and plan *everything*.
Rimworld is a work of art. At it's core, it is a story generator. Every single playthrough is its' own story, and quests are generated at random. You can make technological advancements throughout your playthrough, starting with only the knowledge of a primate to being able to create hi-tech weaponry and armor.
There are 4 default starts to Rimworld. The first being Crash Landing. It's very standard. You begin with 3 survivors coming out of cryptosleep, with nothing but a few packages of food and the clothes on their back.
Next would be the lost tribe. You are less advanced than the crash survivors, and start with around 5 people. Slightly harder experience.
And next is the Rich Explorer. Starts alone with a pet, some silver and a bit of research. Quite difficult but not impossible
Finally, last but definitely not least, Naked Brutality. It's all in the name. You only have one survivor, naked, stranded in the middle of this unknown planet with nothing but your wits. You must make your own clothes and weapons, recruit more people to your tribe and tame your own animals. If you want a true challenge, take naked brutality on the hardest difficulty. Be warned, this is extremely difficult and probably meant for masochists. I haven't even clocked in 100 hours and I can already tell you this game is wonderful. It's not an FPS, but if you like prison architect, you'll love this.

This game is well worth any bit of money spent on it. Gameplay is smooth, graphics are good and the story aspect is, well... Mediocre at worst, but throughout the game you'll find something you haven't seen before. Best part is, you can mod the game to hell.

convince your entire team to play one class and so long as you play music over your soundboard every single match you play will be absolutely cathartic
