I don't know what to say and hasn't already been said.

I liked the art style, gameplay was right up my alley. Normal difficulty was just right for me. Soundtrack was spot on, even battle music never went old - not even after the 140-ish hours I have on my save.

If I had to find one gripe I have with this game, it's probably the playtime. And I don't mean total length, more like the pacing. I never played vanilla, so I can't really compare, but my feeling is it was perfectly paced - so much so, that the things added by Royal broke the pacing, making the game fell a bit long near the end. The original one, before the Royal part. But that's just my feeling - and I can't even not recommend the game because of it. Because even if I did get a bit tired and wanted the game to end already, after the credits rolled, I just miss it. And I'd do it all over again.

And I think everyone should.

Just here for the badge.

But I recommend setting an alarm if you have to do something after playing. Meetings, food, sleep...

This is the reason I'm pissed at EA for killing Visceral.

This series has awesome setting, it plays with your mind through clever use (or absence) of music. It has enough jumpscares to have cost me 2-3 coffees on my first playthrough. Still, I come back to this game (and it's sequels) when I want a cool space shooter, where headshots don't matter that much, where gore is plenty but not overused (or at least fits the setting, in my opinion), and which I can get through in a slow weekend a piece. I don't think graphics have dated that much, but might also be nostalgia, or might not even matter that much.

Let there be DS4. May it not suck. Please, gods of blood and horror. But if there's not, or if it does suck, we will have this one. And then two more than worthy successors.

This is the first Telltale game I've played through. It's now in my special place where I put books, TV shows, movies and games I want to relive one day, many more times.

I wanted to write more, so much more, but I just can't. That's how good it was (at least for me) - I'm now speechless.

Edit: Oh, oh, oh! This I have to write - I've been almost untouched by Borderlands universe prior to playing this game, and I still enjoyed it a great deal. I recognized a few familiar faces, but that's about it, I didn't know them. (True, I own BL1 and 2, but I'm mostly a solo player, and they just weren't that much fun for me that way.) Maybe I'll try again, seems like a really fun universe to get into a bit more.

Never, EVER, dare to think that things are going smoothly for you now.

pain/10, would fall through a hole and get HP halved again, and again, and again.

No words can describe how amazing and 'zen' this game is. Except maybe the previous sentence. Maybe.
