Ubisoft installing bloatware is a pain in the ass

The game doesnt seem to have a CD key, not in the normal way steam gives it to you anyways. I fixed it asking for one by installing the game once, setting up the their annoying launcher to stay signed in, uninstall, and then reinstall. It doesnt ask for CD key this time around and the game launches.

Just need to open up task manager after you close the game to force close Ubisoft connect, and set its launcher settings to not open on startup. Thanks for making your 60$ game a hassle for no benefit to the consumer. :)
