The game has amazing content, however, server hosting is a different beast entirely.

The lack of stability often leaves multiplayer sessions with people who drop out randomly or experience severe bugs, even on a good P2P host.
You must save at resting spots to keep your progress. If you go out and explore a cave, then DC, you have to go back and redo the entire process. The entire cave. Starting from where you last saved (probably at base).

I am not easily frustrated, but each time this happens, it makes me incredibly irritated. For that, I do not recommend buying this at this time.

The reviews for this game like to complain about the lack of a 100% release on an early access game, but if they read the early access blog, they would have known what the game is dropping with.

With that out of the way, let me tell you why this game is good.
The fireteam missions are different each time you play it, which is a promised delivered, and delivered well.
The AI is very smart, and will actively attempt to flank you/appear in places you're not expecting
Gunplay is amazing. Time to kill is realistic, and varies.
You can take some shots yourself, almost like you're wearing armor. You will, however, die if you get caught out.
The AAV following you around is extremely useful. If a teammate is downed, you don't have to go all the way back to where you started.
The incap system is very thought-out. There are different types of being down, but you can still move around, albeit slowly, to get healed by a teammate. The AI will try to finish you off, though, so be careful.
I played 4 missions (with several replays of each, of course), and I had 3 different mission types.
There was a mission where the insurgents had established a mortar and were shelling us.

Graphics are clean, crisp, and immersive.

A comparison to Insurgency could be made, but this is more chaotic. I felt paranoid of every corner, staircase, door, and window.

Now I can finally start playing games with the friends that disappeared for years!

Game is so good, it convinced a dude to move out from the city and start a farm. Hella dope.

Are you satisfied with your boring life? Do you hate suiting up into armor? Do you not like to Deus Vult? Yeah, me neither. Play this game.

This is like therapy, except it encourages violence.

One of the most engaging games that Rockstar has released in recent years. I bought this when it came out for the 360, and I bought it again as I switched to PC gaming, and for good reason. The face capture they used was ahead of its time and still holds up well today. Cases are intriguing and full of action, and if you ever feel like exploring, there's plenty to do. There's never a dull moment in L.A. Noire, and I look forward to buying the VR version of it as soon as I get a headset.
