Game focuses on trying to be as real as possible but falls flat in far too many areas it needs to focus on.

Your squad are constantly moving in front of you beyond the front line, opening doors to come and join you from the FRONT! As in they just appear in the next room/building you are about to clear and just waltz up. The amount of friendly fire is just silly....
Your squad desire to be in your line of fire. If you're weapon is not pointing through them at the enemy, they will move so that it is... Suicidal squad mates.


It gets the feel right. You feel terror constantly but it's hard to tell if that's the design or just an effect of poor design. You're constantly seen through obstacles that shouldn't be possible and in the "night" missions you can't see anything beyond 4 meters with a flashlight. Oh but all the bots (friendly and enemy) can see any tiny detail from miles away.

As an experience, it completely fails flat after the first mission. You don't really feel like a soldier. You feel like someone trying to follow the direction the story is supposed to take you in but keep taking the wrong path. The first night mission has the sun coming up and you cannot see anything! Flashlights barely illuminate anything outside of 4 meters and you can get easily get killed by someone you cannot see standing 5 meters in front of you. And if they have cover, your whole team will die because your team only shoots for centre mass.

The concept is fantastic. The game idea is brilliant. And considering the tool kits available for FPS games these days... The execution is just appalling. This is based on an important part of modern history... Please improve before release. So many things like this get abandoned or release unfinished.

At the moment, it's hard to justify the price tag. I hope it gets better (early access review)

New update is pretty lack luster, AI behavior seems worse than before. The fact they aren't effected by a sandstorm at night and can just pin point you is lame. Had an insurgent walk up wipe me out and just sit there and watch while a friend revived me, then ran away like skeletor. Hit reg seems very inconsistent. Before the update this was a thumbs up for sure, but at this time id rather play Ready or Not. Not a terrible game, just cant recommend it in its current state. The optimization is absolutely atrocious, frame drops left and right regardless of graphics settings. Just not a great experience unfortunately. Will revisit it in a few months and see if that changes things. 4/10

The game is great, ambiance awesome!
BUT..... allie IA is really dumb an the enemie IA is really superior.
tOO MUCH ENEMIES ON SOLO MISSION. more than 60+ enemies on a single mission??
Your allies are useless. Not good for the moment.
Wait until the devs fix the mission.
