After getting deep into this game, I think it's safe to say this is the best Mortal Kombat game when you look at it from a general perspective. It mixes between new generation fast gameplay with the atmosphere of the klassic MK games.
Gameplay: Brilliant. As I mentioned previously, it's like a mix of old generation and new generation. It also possess a feature that no other MK game has, and that is Tag Kombat, which is F-ing awesome.
Graphics: If you're not the kind of person who cries about graphics too much, then you'll definitely find this game beautiful looking. (You might need a good and fast PC to run this game, though.)
Soundtrack: Mostly remakes of old MK OSTs, which is pretty awesome.
Gamemodes: Pretty decent gamemodes with endless fun. It brought back both Test Your Might and Test Your Sight, introduced Test Your Luck which is addictive, and introduced Challenge Tower with 300 challenges and lots of neat easter eggs and homage to the old generation. I'm disappointed, however, that a game made in 2011 (and also owned by WB, a company responsible for games like Batman: Arkham Knight) has a cutscenes'n'fights Story mode, when they could've brought back Konquest or made Story mode similar to Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks. Nonetheless, the cutscenes are highly enjoyable and feels like what an MK movie should be (the Steam version, or maybe the PC port in general, has bad quality for the cutscenes for some reason, though).

As an MK game, I give this 9/10 (no pun intended). Am I satisfied with the product? I sure am. Is it worth 19.99$? Yes. Do I recommend it? Yes I do, it's a must for every MK fan.
