Delightful throwback to 2000's platformers. I never played Ratchet and Clank (I was a Spyro kid), but this is making me wonder if I should give it a try.

Pretty fun for early access, though it's clear English isn't the writers' first language. The dialogue feels really stiff and awkward - which is a shame, because the voice actors they hired (at least for the player character) seem very talented. I highly suggest the devs hire a writer that's more familiar with colloquial English to polish the script.

It's also clear to me that whoever wrote the script has some issues to work out. The forced weed references and implied bestiality were a bit much.

There are some interesting concepts going on here, but a lot of the execution just feels... Lazy I guess? The phrase that keeps coming to mind is "artificial difficulty". This pervades every aspect of the game, from the needlessly long processing timers (which have taken up the majority of my play time so far, this is not a good thing), to the far too short day/night cycle, which essentially governs which boss monsters you're able to fight and when. The combat itself is also prone to artificial difficulty. Rather than dynamic, well choreographed, hands-on battles, the monsters just kind of spam these huge, wide-reaching attacks that can easily one shot you if you don't have your armor and health maxed out. There's no finesse, it's all just running in, taking a few swings, waiting for the monsters to finish their AOE tantrum, and repeating this until the monster is eventually dead. There's also the fact that monsters will simply teleport away to a randomly chosen spot once you reach a certain amount of damage. As of right now the game just kind of feels like a chore. The monster designs could also do with some improvement. Granted, it is early access, so I'm curious to see how things improve and evolve as development progresses. The game has a lot of potential, it just needs time and polish.

Really fun! Short but sweet story. Reminds me of Horizon: Zero Dawn in a lot of ways. Highly recommend if you like nature centric games.
