Eya, I'm named after a japanese noodle-based culinary delight, which means my mind is as open to foreign culture as my taste buds.
You may call me a cultural junkie, a fanboy of places far away, maybe just a dreamer.
Obsessed with Japan, surely. But hey, there's always a bit of good old americana, british class or italian dolce vita flowing through my veins as well.

That's Ryosuke Takahashi up there, drinking tea, pretending he's not part of an anime responsible for the spread of drift culture far away from the Akina touge. He adopted the glitchy VCR lifestyle, because it's cool. Vintage stuff tends to be cool. I love vintage cars. Well, cars in general. I might spend a little too much time behind the wheel of retro-tastic virtual racecars, or staring at photos of Daikoku PA meets.

Music. Rock n' Roll, City Pop and Synthwave. All the rest, probably, as long as it's got soul.
I play the accordion. Not that well, I don't practice enough. Must become more french.

Stories as well. I love me a good story. Even more so when told by a friend. Slovenian gastronomy, irish folklore, I'll send you crates of my finest 16-bit red wine for each story you tell.

You know what else got stories? Anime. Of course. Nichijou, Evangelion, GTO. Now I can act like I know all the classics, even though I've yet to watch many more. Seen most Ghiblis, love them as childhood memories for some, but all of them as genuine masterpieces. I follow seasonal anime too. It's getting a bit crazy, with every season having tens of good shows.

Did I mention Life is Strange? Bae over bay. Even if the best bae is Salt Bae (you know, that handsome turkish chef, also a meme). While we're at it, Sleeping Dogs was awesome too. Very accurate depiction of pork buns.
