I never thought I'd enjoy anything made by the French but here we are

The first 60-80 hours I had with this game were genuinely amazing and it was one of the best JRPGs I had ever played up to that point. Unfortunately the last third of the game is miserable. At a certain point every battle became ooo I'm thick and resist everything haha, which doesn't do much other than slow down the pace of the game significantly. Some of the end game fights, especially some of the end game boss fights, are way to long and the fact that you will probably need a couple of tries for a lot of them kills all of the fun you'll have. Also play the game with a guide, there are too many game breaking decisions that take hours for you to see the consequences of, and retrying fights and reloading fights so you can mess with your party stops being fun the moment the fights become a slog. The music, art and story are all amazing though

The definition of 7/10

For all the issues I have with the gameplay getting repetitive, the difficulty curve being just throwing more enemies with more health at you, and the technical issues I had (game started crashing every 1-2 hours about 2/3 the way through the game), it is without a doubt one of the best stories I have ever experienced period. I cannot recommend this game enough even with the flaws. 8.5/10

A bit skibidi a lot fortnite but all in all Jimbo is pretty cringe 8/10
