this game definitely has its problems. but you're here playing it on PC, getting its best updates, getting them as soon as possible, this is worth your time.

Fantastic upgrade from the original.

the screenshots betray what it actually is: no man's awful minecraft, in one solar system.

you start on one planet, you research enough stupid weird objects for "bytes" to unlock parts to get you off the planet. this will take you hours.

once you get to the other planet, you shortly realize that what this planet does not have, you need. so you go back to your original planet (assuming your rocket still works!) and farm.

as someone that was very much looking forward to 1.0, i had great, great hopes for it. look what subnautica became! but the planet 'stages' mean nothing other than a differing power source or a different native mineral unlike the depth and biomes in subnautica. there is no point to unlocking everything other than to be able to build it, which is asinine.

the worlds don't matter, the enemies, if you can call them that, don't matter (you scoop the earth underneath and then they pop out of existence).

there is no challenge, there is no story, there is no progression, there is no point. if there were an endgame, maybe i could justify buying into it even in early access. but i can't, and i can't say this is a good game.

this is not a 1.0 release. this is not a 30 dollar game. this is a tech demo. and coming from someone who bought into DayZ standalone, you'd think i'd have learned my lesson by now. i've given it its due, had i known what i do now, i would have tried for a refund but that's long gone now.

This continues what is a great series. Not only do you get new maps, new targets, new everything, you get remastered Hitman maps as well. And while the Ghost multiplayer needs some work (for the love of God, how do these people know I'm that guy who died?) the Sniper co-op is great fun.

This is absolutely my game of the year, hands down. They found a method, and continued with it, and I love it.

I hate this game. I f.. I hate this damn game, I don't care if you're a speedrunner, a math genius, a wizard at games, this game will make you want to take your computer and throw it out the window. I DEFY you to play this and get to the end and NOT say 'well, why bother' and yet you're STILL going to do it AGAIN AND AGAIN THINKING YOU CAN DO SOMETHING BETTER AND YOU CAN'T FIVE STARS I HATE EVERYTHING

Short, but looks gorgeous in VR. Simple and easy to play. Now that it's 10 dollars, I can recommend it.
