This game has potential to become a M&B Rival one day. As of right now though there is very little content and the combat controls do not feel good at all. The movement system needs to be re-worked. I do like that you can create your own factions and customise them, that's probably the best feature this game has.

Other than that It is very bare bones, it feels more like a proof of concept demo than a full game. Judging by the fact that the game has been in early access since 2022 and there is still very little content I don't know how much hope there is for this game to become fully realised. If it did however, I could see it becoming a real M&B competitor.

A very dull, boring experience.

Not the kind of game I thought this was going to be. It's basically just an on rails game with uninteresting dialogue choices that all seem to have the same outcome.

Much better games like this are out there

As It stands, I cannot recommend this game simply because as of right now there is very little to do. I played a lot of blockland back in the day and this game is a very promising spiritual successor to blockland however, as of right now it's far too bare bones for me personally.

With time I'm sure there will be a lot more servers with interesting things to do on them but at the moment there isn't enough for me to justify the purchase so for now, I have refunded the game. I will probably re-visit it in a few months to see what the community is looking like & see if the game has more to offer to justify the purchase.

If you enjoy building and that's all you want to do then it seems like you'll have a good time with the game in it's current state. For me, I played blockland more for the mini-games and game modes like prison escape which were fun back in the day. I never really did much building and as of right now that's all there really is in this game. The game isn't bad in it's current state but it isn't very good either, it needs a lot more time to cook before it can live up to old blockland standards and be worth my time.

Also on another note, £25.00 is a STEEP asking price for a game like this. I feel like it will be a lot harder to build up a community when the fee to get started isn't very inviting. Blockland for instance is £8.50. Yes it's a MUCH older game which is basically dead now but that price makes a lot more sense especially when this new game is very bare bones at the moment. I personally think that £10.00 would be a much more appropriate price for brickadia and would allow a for a much larger community to build up quickly which would keep the game alive and thriving. After maybe a year when there's a lot more content (Presuming this game isn't dead by then) I think a £15.00 price tag could be justified but right out of the gate charging £25.00 for this game is honestly a very poor decision (in my opinion as a veteran blockland player) which will definitely make it harder for the game to keep building a community and maintain momentum. I want this game to do well because I would LOVE to re-live the glory days of old blockland once more but I do strongly believe that this game will not do nearly as well as it could because of the quite frankly absurd current asking price for what's currently on offer here.

Update 16/08/25:

Well well well what do you know. Only 1 month later and the game is basically dead. Only just barely managing to scrape 100 players on a Saturday. Who knew? Oh wait, me and many others.

The developers clearly want their game to fail because there have been a ton of complaints about the ridiculously high price which have gone completely ignored. It's a real shame. I was a big fan of blockland back in the day and I was looking forward to this game but the developers just don't care about their community.

If the game was £10 - £15 They could've sold so many more copies and had a much bigger community and maybe even put this game on the map a bit so more people discover it exists.

I'll check back again in another month, I will be shocked if I see more than 20 people playing.

Easy Red 2 is an excellent World War 2 shooter.

There's many different campaigns to play and even some that no other WW2 game offers like the China & Japan conflict in 1937.

The DLC is well worth paying full price for as the campaigns that it adds are all really good.
Theres a healthy modding community with lots of custom maps to try out and you can make your own maps too.

Lots of vehicles to drive and pilot, the maps are large and completely open. I really like the looting system, it makes the game a lot more fun when surviving on the Battlefield with limited resources.

If I was to describe this game in one sentence I would say thay It's like Star Wars Battlefront but World War 2.

This game is also fun to play with friends and mess around in.
I would highly recommend this game to any fans of WW2 shooters. For me it's my favourite WW2 shooter now.

As a big Mout and Blade fan this game looked interesting to me however, I didn’t enjoy the time I had with it.

For me there's too much focus on resource management and not enough focus on fun & engaging gameplay. Most of the time when I gave orders my troops did not follow them.
Overall I found this game to be a chaotic mess.

I was hoping for a more sandbox like experience which M&B offers, this game feels more like a resource management simulator. For that reason, I had to refund.

I played Bannerlord again recently for the first time in 4 years. Previously I hadn't played since 2021 because I simply did not like the game. Unfortunately 4 years later and barely anything has changed and I still don't like the game. I love Mount & Blade: Warband it is infact my #1 most played game on steam and has been for years now. It's one of my favourite games of all time.

So why don't I like Bannerlord? There are many reasons sadly. I'll keep my reasons breif with some bulletpoints:

* I find that Bannerlord has added too many mechanics to the game. To the point where playing the game is more of a chore than an enjoyable experience

* I absolutely hate the renown system in Bannerlord compared to Warband

* There are no feasts and diplomacy is not as good as it was in Warband

* Setting up a workshop is 100x more annoying than in Warband. Trying to find a village with the correct resource to supply a town i found to be next to impossible and I found my workshops grinding to a halt straight away which doesn't happen in Warband. In warband you buy an enterprise and it just works, it generates money and that's that. So much better.

* I don't like daily pay. I prefer weekly pay like in Warband. It gives you a chance to use the week building up your finances.

* The native Factions aren't as interesting in Bannerlord compared to Warband

* The biggest reason is that Bannerlord just isnt fun. I think for me its because the game overcomplicates things that were already perfect in Warband. Warband feels like a perfect medieval sandbox experience which is easy to learn, has mechanics that are easy to figure out and get used to. Bannerlord feels more like a resource management simulator because there is so much micromanaging in Bannerlord that you have to do. I found myself spending more time being annoyed in Bannerlord than actually having fun. In Warband its the opposite.

Bannerlord has too much going on, too much that you have to learn and remember, too much time spent managing resources instead of fighting. The game is 100%, a chore to play.
To be honest, I can't see myself ever downloading and playing Bannelord again because Warband is still the best experience in this genre despite it's age & Bannerlord just feels so much different and not in a good way.

Imo there are only a couple of things Bannerlord has which are slightly better. The first being the Graphics, obviously the graphics are a lot better compared to Warband. Secondly the fact that you can have kids then play as those kids if your character dies. That is one thing I do find cool. However those two things alone are not enough to save this game for me.

Honestly, if they updated Warband with Bannerlord graphics that'd be the perfect game for me. There would genuinely be zero reason to play Bannerlord again. Honestly that's all I kinda wanted from Bannerlord to begin with but unfortunately they messed around and changed too many things in the game.

I WISH that i loved Bannerlord. I really tried to learn the new mechanics, get into the game and fully enjoy it but I just can't. Bannerlord is not fun to play at all. In my opinion, it's a bad game. I will be sticking to Warband for the foreseeable future whenever I get my medieval sandbox itch.

I don't understand the hype around this game. It's very basic and not very engaging or fun to play.

I only played it for about 20 minutes but it just did not have anything to keep me hooked in any longer. It feels like another basic Sim with no real distinctions over other games like it.

It is in early access and it really shows. The world feels very bare bones. The mechanics seem fine though. For me, I need a new Game to grab my attention quickly and make me feel like im having a new experience and I did not get that from this game. I'm sure the full game will have a lot more to offer.

For now though, I had to refund.

The best remaster I've ever played. The visuals are stunning and the gameplay improvements are fantastic. The combat is improved, it still feels similar but the added animations do add a lot to it. Archery also feels really great, better than skyrim to be honest. I'm also glad that they kept the magic system from OG oblivion as I always preferred it in Oblivion to Skyrim.

There's FOV options in the settings and an uncapped framerate option so finally don't have any need for console commands or mods right away. The game looks and feels so great to play that mods will probably never be needed tbh though I wouldn't be against them.

I'm playing on ultra settings and I'm getting around 140fps in the open world and up to 200fps in interiors (With DLSS, Haven't tried without). I've only played for an hour and a half but I haven't noticed any bugs or glitches so far.

There's so much to this remaster, it feels like I'm playing Oblivion for the very first time again which is great.
Can't wait to play more and see everything it has to offer!

Update after 70 hours:

I love this remaster, it's so good that it could be called a remake easily. However there are a few things I don't like.

1. Some of the new voice acting. Some of the new voice actors did a really great job and they sound great! However there are some voices that honestly sound terrible and don't fit Obliivon.
For example, the new female Khajiit voice sounds awful. They sound like 90 year old women on life support. That's the best way I can describe it. I wish there was an option in the options menu to keep the OG voice acting because whenever I hear their voice it takes me out of it.

I also don't like that they changed argonian males to sound like they do in Skyrim. I've always preferred their voice in Oblivion and now it's changed that's another aspect of classic Oblivion gone which sucks.

I also sometimes struggle to find NPCs with the original voice acting a lot have the new voice acting and I don't like that. I wish that most of them had the OG voice acting. Some of the new acting is really good but I personally never had a problem with the 4 voice actors in OG oblivion and characters of the same race having the same voice. So for me while some of it is good I wish I had the option to change back to only the original voice actors.

2. The difficulty settings. The difficulty settings are pretty bad. Adept is the only one which feels fun to play because both you and the enemy deal the same damage to eachother. Anything lower is way too easy and anything higher is hard in an annoying way because enemies are so spongey.
This is something that needs to be fixed, they either need a better variety in difficulty settings or they need to go back to the old slider where you could fine tune your difficulty.

3. Some of the quests are outright broken or can accidentally be broken by the player without realising. One example is the Go Fish quest. You have to collect 12 scales for a guy. It takes ages because the fish take forever to spawn in. And if you collect more than 12 scales the quest breaks and it won't update so I had to use console commands to get rid of some. That's just one example, I've run into a few other quests that can't be completed because they're broken. For the most part though quests are fine it's just a few that aren't.

One more thing.. i find it really dumb that using console commands disables achievements especially when using them is sometimes necessary to fix a broken quest.
I don't see the point of restricting steam achievements in a singleplayer game, if the player wants to mess around with console commands they should be able to without consequence. However, it's easy enough to install an achievement unblocker mod so I've just done that which fixed the issue.

I think those are my only gripes for now. Overall Olbivion Remastered is the best remaster for a game period. There is no remaster that comes close. I love it. It's probably an 8/10 for me. If they changed all the voice acting back to the original voice acting, fixed the difficulty settings and fixed the broken quests the game would easily be a 10/10 for me.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is my new favourite game pushing Kingdom Come: Deliverance I into second place & I am very happy about that.

KCD2 is everything I wanted from a sequel to my #1 favourite game and more! it takes everything that was done in the first game and expands/improves upon every single aspect. The world is incredible, having two large maps to explore makes KCD1 feel small in comparison when in reality, it isn't. It's just that KCD2 has so much more to offer with two maps, greater exploration, more settlements, more quests, more encounters & so much more!

The graphics are stunning. The best I've ever seen. I'm playing at 1440p at maxed out settings and it really shows because the world is beautiful! I thought KCD1 looked incredible but KCD2 blows it out of the park.
The mechanics have all been improved upon plus new ones have been added like smithing, being able to forge your own weapons and maintain them yourself is so fun. The minigame itself is enjoyable and feels realistic.

The crime system is amazing and feels a lot more realistic now, instead of just going to jail you face a whole array of new punishments like getting put into the stocks or being branded. It makes being a criminal in the game that much more fun. I'ts also more challenging as the NPCs are a lot smarter than in the first game. If they see you acting shifty they check their chests to make sure nothing is stolen. If they find something has been stolen they report it to the guard and if they spotted you in the area you'll get reported. It's so good. You can't just sneak around out in the daylight as you will be reported for it if seen. It makes committing crimes harder but a lot more rewarding when you pull it off. Overall as someone who likes to play as a thief character I absolutely love the improvements to the crime and punishment aspects in the game.

The Combat has been changed to make it slightly easier which makes perfect sense as at that point in the story Henry had a lot of combat experience and would be more proficient. It is still however challenging and dynamic enough to still be just as fun if not more fun than the first game. I love the combat in KCD a lot, it feels realistic and provides a fun challenge.
What I really love about KCD 1 & 2 is that you're not a god at combat right off the bat, you have to train a LOT to get better just like real life. You cant just rush into a fight with 10 guys and come out on top, fighting more than one opponent at tghe same time can be very difficult just like it would be in real life. At first you suck at it but the more you play the better you get at it and it is so rewarding once you get really good and can start taking on higher tier enemies and multiple at once.

The side quests in KCD2 are better than KCD1 too and there is a lot more of them. It took me 40 hours to progress the main story after the prologue becuase I got so caught up in completing so many fun side quests. The main story so far has also been engaging and exciting just like the first game. I've only just got to the second map after 70 hours of game time.
This game has so much to offer if you enjoy doing lots of quests.

There are only two minor things about KCD2 that I personally dislike.
1. I really don't like that your equipment gets routinely unequipped right after certain cut-scenes. It's really annoying having to go through all my loot and find exactly what I was wearing again.
2. I personally feel like some of the dialogue sequences are drawn out way too long, don't get me wrong the dialogue in this game is fantastic however some scenes feel like they are really drawn out longer than they have to be with filler which has no relevance to anything. I find myself skipping dialogue which I really don't want to do but sometimes I feel like I have to just to get the pace up so I can keep playing.

Honorable mention: I wish the game let you save whenever you want instead of having to use the Saviour Schnapps. I personally really hate when RPG games try to force you to play a certain way rather than being able to play however you like. I just like the ability to save anywhere at anytime.
Luckily this can be easily fixed with mods. A save mod was out on day 1 so it's never been an issue I just would like the option to be in the game from the get-go for people who don't like having to micromanage when they save the game. Again though, this isn't an issue with the game at all as for people who want this you can easily get it with mods.

Other than those 3 things, there is nothing about this game that I don't like. It's a perfect sequel for an already perfect game. For me KCD1 is a 10/10 game so KCD2 HAS to be 12/10 for the amount of improvements and additions that it adds to the experience. Kingdom Come: Deliverance II has now become my new #1 favourite game and #1 favourite RPG. For me it's the perfect game. It has everything I want out of and RPG and more. It feels so real that I feel like I'm actually there. It's the most immersive a game can be without being full virtual reality.

I would HIGHLY recommend this game if you enjoy realistic RPG's with world that feels like real life. I don't care what other games come out this year Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is the game of the year, end of story. For me though, it's game of the decade.

Boring game, don't like that you have to start right back at the beginning when you lose all your health. The AI constantly pulls the perfect numbers it needs to get to 21 seems unfair and therefore is not fun to play.
