This game gets very boring very quickly.
That's if you can even call it a game, it's basically a walking simulator with a wacky physics engine.
Save your money

Early Access Review
Originally I left a negative review for this game back in January because I thought that the gameplay was boring but several months later I decided to pick this game up again to give it another shot and now I find myself enjoying it more! It is very samey but also fun to just play for a couple hours at a time.
I don't really care for the timed missions all that much so I mostly just play sandbox and map mods.

It's a fun game to kill some time for a little while, I don't think it's worth full price though so I'd wait until it goes on sale for around £10 or less before you buy.

A simple yet thought provoking experience.
This game really makes you think about the universe and how everything is connected.
Just when I thought the game was over I learn't that I had only completed the tutorial.
I got it for £2.19 on sale and it's well worth that price

This is by far the worst Assassins creed game.

Connor as a character is extremly boring and annoying to play as.
The gameplay is the most boring in the series so far.
The story and missions were mostly terrible.
The ship combat is awful.

I'd have prefered to play the whole game as Haytham honestly, he's a far more interesting character.
Assassins are so blinded by their goals for freedom that they can't see the chaos they cause along the way and that's especially true for Connor.

I only replayed this game for completionist purposes, If you're new to Assassins Creed then stay far far away from this game because it's trash and I can happily say that I will never waste my time with it again.

Assassins Creed Revelations continues some time after Brotherhood, You play as the now old Ezio in Constantinople. This is my favorite game of the Ezio series, in my opinion it has the best story, best map and best overall gameplay than the other two games. I found the story to far better and more interesting than brotherhood, the missions in this game are more diverse and keep the game enjoyable. You can again purchase shops to generate income but this time you are unable to invest in those shops. There are new weapons, armour and some new abilities which make the game stand out from the other two. The gamplay itself was fun, the combat seems to improve with each game and with this one it was very good indeed. There are less puzzels than in brotherhood but there are still puzzles, some of them timed which i have never liked but they are better than before. Overall If you're playing through the Ezio story you'll wanna of course start with AC2 but if you just want the game for the gameplay then I would Reccomend it because it is a fun game and i'd give it a 7/10 overall.

AC Brotherhood takes place straight after the events of AC2 right where Ezio left off. In terms of overall gameplay and story it is pretty average. The story is is about 6 or 7 hours shorter than Assassins Creed 2 which I was supprised about. Some of the missions I found overly difficult especially the horrible Tailing, Timed and Remain Undetected Missions., those were by far the worst and sadly there were a fair amount of them which deff meant I didn't enjoy the game as much as I had hoped. This game introduces the purchase of shops and the ability to capture small areas of the city held by the enemy. You can earn an income and get quite a lot of money very quickly and can also invest money into shops. The combat I feel was an improvment over AC2 and I did enjoy it. There are a lot of puzle missions which have you jumpingg from ledge to ledge which I really did not like at all but they weren't too frustrating. Like the ending of AC2, Ezio hunts down some targets but refuses to kill them which I also hated because of the amount of effort you had to go through to get there. Overall, I enjoyed AC2 a lot more than Brotherhood but this is still a decent game in the series. I'd give it a 6/10 overall. It could be a lot better but it is what it is.

Assassins Creed 2 is a much needed improvement from the first game. Everything that made AC1 Repatitive has been sorted out very well and the mission structure has far far more variation. Ezio is a very likable protagonist with a very justfifiable lust for revenge. The main story took me 20 Hours to complete with a few side missions here and there and overall almost every mission was solid. The only mission I truly despised is one where you have to kill 9 luitenants, the game forces you to stay hidden whcih I hate because I wanna play the game how I want to play it and not be forced into doing a certain style of play. The combat is much improved from the first game and is overall enjoyable. There is a variety of choises in weapons and also customization options with the colour of your clohtes and extra Armour. You also have the ability to renevate up a villa to generate income for your character, it's very easy to do and you can end up very wealthy, very fast. Overall I enjoyed this game quite a lot and would give it a solid 8/10.

This game is for sure the weakest game of the Assassins Creed series but it is also the first one so that is to be expected. I did find it very repetative because every mission has you doing pretty much the same thing over and over in order to build up to the main target. The combat is decent, fairly easy but at the same time fairly challenging. Some of the view points can be a real pain to get too because they don't let you climb across to them and i got quite frutrated several times with that. There are 3 main cities which are all pretty much copies of eachother with minor differences so that can get old fast. The story itself is decent but very predictable, everything i thought that would happen did happen. Graphics wise it does look a little muddy but it is a fairly old game so that's to be expected. The controls are pretty good too, I had no issue using them. Overall this game is decent but can be pretty boring at the same time, I'm currently playing through all of the AC games in order and after a while I was looking forward to this one ending. I'd give it a 6/10 overall. It has the foundations of a great game but does fall short in many areas.

2022 Update:

After 4 years since I last played through the AC games I decided to try the original game again mainly out of boredom . In my previous 2018 review I said that AC1 is the weakest AC game and I still stand by that today having played it again. To put it frankly, I don't like this game at all and don't enjoy playing it. The missions involve you doing the same few tasks several times in order to assassinate each target at the end. They aren't fun at all. There is one in particular where you have to get 18 flags in 3 mins and while this may sound easy, trust me it is not. The controls are a terrible clunky mess, you spend more time falling off buildings than climbing on them. Which makes timed missions near impossible. Stealth is also utterly awful in this game, it basically does not exist. The parkour system is just overall terrible.

On a good note, the combat can sometimes be a little fun and the story is (What little there is) is interesting. It does a good job at laying the groundworks for future AC games. However, this game is incredibly dated. For 2022 standards, it's really bad. for 2007 I remember playing it back then and enjoying it but we have far moved past the clunkyness of this game now.
in 2018 I rated the game a 6/10. In 2022 I rate this game a 2/10, It's a bad game. Not completely awful but deff bad. You are far better off watching a YouTube video instead to catch yourself up on the story as the god awful gameplay is not worth it at all.

I don't recommend this game and here is why:

> It feels like a 3D First person rip off of Stardew Valley

> After the hour long tutorial there really is nothing much to do that you haven't already done

> The map is tiny

> Frequent FPS Drops

> The camera angle caused Motion sickness while moving around (Changing the FOV Diddn't help)

> Playing in 3rd person is almost impossible because you can't see what you're trying to aim at

> Overall Gamplay experience was very boring, What makes Stardew Valley not get boring and repetative is that there is always something to do such as Fishing, Mining (Which includes a Combat element which really adds to the game), Cutting trees, Improving relationships will villagers for rewards, Exploring ect, and this game has very very little of any of that.

> The Builing is pretty bad, the blocks that you craft seem a tad too small and actually bulding with them is honestly a real chore

In it's current state this game is probally a 2/10 in my opinion, the basic foundations of a decent game are there but it needs a ton of work to justify the price. ( I refunded the game due to the motionsickness from the poor camera making it difficult to play and the fact that I felt like I straight up wasted £14.99 on what is essentially an Unfinnished 3D Stardew Valley Rip off)

I have to admit I was very skeptical of this game at first but now after buying it on sale and giving it a chance I have to say that this is by far my favorite Far Cry game so far. After loving FC3 and Blood Dragon I was very much looking forward to FC4 but after playing FC4 for a while it really bored the hell out of me and everything felt the same as FC3 but in a different location so I thought I was burnt out on this series, that was untill I played Primal.

Playing Far Cry Primal is a much different experience to 3, BD and 4 mainly because of their being no firearms or cars or any other modern human invention since this is set in 10,000 BCE and I have to say it is a very welcome one. The bow and spear is very fun to use, the club is just a standard mele weapon and isn't anything special but overall I enjoyed the combat in this game very much.

The missions were fun in my opinion, they were captivating enough to keep me interested throughout the game.
The side missions are very abundant and I still haven't done them all yet but plan to.
I also love playing Takkar the Beast Master, riding a sabertooth tiger into battle is so much more fun than driving cars in the previous entries. The hunting in this game is so much more fun than in the previous two games also because you are playing as what is essentialy a glorified Caveman it feels right that you should be naturally good at hunting since that is what they had to do to survive. There are plenty of upgrades for your gear that will have you hunting all different types of animals. There are also the special hunting missions which have you track Boss animals and fight them and afterwards you can tame them and even ride them.

The world map is very similar to FC4 but I don't see a problem with this at all because the landscape and setting is so much different that it was never at any point noticable but even if it was so what? I love going back in time and adventuring in an area thousands of years before, its great fun honestly.
On the technical side of this this game ran at a very smooth 65 + FPS on very high settings and I only noticed it drop below that when using the owl.

Overall I would reccomend this game to anyone who is a fan of this series or is new to it, this game offers so much and I wish I gave it a chance earlier but better late than never! Don't pass this game up, it's a gem.
