Solid Rally game. Manages to be as fun as dirt 3 (for different reasons) even on the controller. I wish i still had a setup to play this when VR releases, because the game feel is great.

The carreer is a bit dissapointing though, since the calendar is not random...

Still, to this day, the best Warhammer 40k RTS.
The DLC's, especially Darrk Crusade and Soulstorm are essential to it's success, but Dawn of War is where my interest for 40 started.

Don't mind the salty reviews for single issues. Game works perfectly for me, playing on a controller.

Now for the review:

Great looking game, cars feel great, maps seems complex and are sometimes hard to follow (that's good).
Seems like you have to manually move your roadbook forward outside of WPC and WPS, which might be a bug but still isn't a big problem.

They really delivered on their promise. If you like dakar 18 but the poor physics and other issues pulled you away, this is denetly the game for you.

A few issues are the progression system, which so far doesn't seem great, and sports mode, which is really unecessary in my opinion, allowing you to cheat by memorising courses, and just not working well with the driving physics (feels like gravel but controls like dirt rally).

Still a solod game, hard recommend for anyone looking for a fresh offroad racing experience.

That extra about how he made the game made me tear up, so that's an instant recommend for his hard work.

Sad i had to wait 2 years to realise this humble bundle gem was actually great!

Game of the yearr. Game of the decade even.

I've never played a game with such fun gameplay coupled with a truly taking story.

Buy this NOW and play it.

Great atmosphere and solid gameplay.

very tense game with a deep and detailed universe. I will probably play it again in the hardest difficulty one day.

My Friend Pedro is a fresh take on the high-octane stylish arcade shooter genre. It's like Hotline Miami but sidescrolling, and with bullet time.

The game isn't particularly hard to finish, but once you understand the tools at your disposition, you can really chain cool kills and moves.

The progression is quite nice, with progressively more powerful enemies, weapons, and hazards being introduced regularly.

The story is basic but the tone of the game keeps it entertaining, and despite what IGN says the humour is top notch. My first playthrough was a surprising blast, and I can't wait to play it again.

Over all I enjoy Assassin's Creed: Middle Earth 2.

It hasn't changed much from Assassin's Creed: Middle Earth, but they did add a few things and probably fix some problems the game probably had. One thing I enjoy is the addition of companions, that you can use to do synchronized takedowns and tank damage while you clear off the area.
And one thing which really impressed me: the speed of escort characters varries entirely with your own, so you can stealth or run without having to wait or catch up to them.

While the gameplay loop is the same since Arkham Asylum, there is enough variety and evolution to keep it interesting. No weapon loadout customization, but a lot of different powers and opportunities you unlock as you play.

The Wraith powers and other cool perks of having a ghost Alter Ego are amazing to use in combat, and the maps allow for vastly different playstyles to be experimented with at any time, alternating between sniping off Orks, rampaging through Orks with your sword by mashing X and occasionally B and Y, or going from one stealth kill to another on oblivious Orks.

There are a few RPG elements, staying simple enough to not be cumbersome. There are around 30 skills, all with 2 or 3 bonusses (of which you can only chose one, forcing you to make decisions based on your prefered playstyle) that allow you to really spec up and personalise your character. There is also a simple inventory, consisting of your 5 equipement pieces that you can replace with various qualities of items, that offer really good looking and varried looks, while rewarding you for killing Bosses (weapons) and also normal ennemies (gems that gives you perks and you need to collect lots of)

The story is something bland and tasteless, a bit like the first one. It's not very Middle-Earthy, and other than the shared vocabulary, locations, and characters, it could really have been any random fantasy setting.

Finally, the game looks good, although i'm struggling to see improvements over the first one (which I played a long time ago).

At this price, it's a bargain.

If you play Elite and want to go on planets, experience multicrew, Launch fighters from your large ship (and controls your firend's fighters), or boost your ship's internals, i greatly recommend it!
