I think this game is worth if you're any type of FPS fan. (If you're OCE games are poppin! *after work hours*)

Movement tech is based on crouch sliding, gain speed during sliding to chain hops together. Think ULTRAKILL, Open Fortress and Titanfall 2.

Maps are pretty sick, clear advantage and disadvantage spots. 4v4 exacerbates this and leads to tense team fights. It's really easy to move around each map as a team, so even matchups have you fighting all over the place.

Card mechanics allow you to spec in a way you like to play, ultimately the player with better fundamentals wins. I've never lost a fight and thought damn that upgrade/suit/weapon is broken.

The trailer shows some cool 1v1s but the best of this game taking a risky grapple to get a pick on 4 turtling eggs, or pocketing your rabid Chunk zealot in a 1v4 for the win. Give it a go :smileyblue:

Worth playing to mess around with the slow motion. It really helps you move through rooms but never feels like you're actually slowing down. Sound track is great, DnB Ghost in the Shell screaming. The shotgun being a rocket jump ties in well with your arsenal.

A big plus for being able to turn off a lot of motion effects, and being able to tweak movement properties (like how much you stick to a wall). After setting all of that up and nice Quake style keybinds the game really shines.

This game is like a child showing you their finger painting, but it hasn't dried yet and theyre running full speed with the paper infront of their face. You are excited for them but you know they're going to trip and paint will get all over the floor and their clothes.

I haven't touched ranked yet, but joining a friends match is super quick. Feels like 30 seconds from game launch to spectating a match in play.

Game balance is wild, in a good way. Solutions to adversity is straightforward; guard button here, roll here, whiff punish there... or it's hilariously unfair. The simplicity of the problems presented allows you to utilise the lessons you've learned without flubbing execution thanks to the option of simple inputs.

I've never been an advocate for 'simple' inputs but DNF Duel presents a great argument for why it should be a feature designed into the game-play of modern fighting games.

The most visceral game I've ever played. Endless mechanics, theory and rules to explore and exploit.

Season 3 is rapidly changing how we're playing the game. Tekken is currently shifting it's identity, for better or for worse. As of this review however, it's a great time to pick up and learn. Combos hit really hard, punishment is simple, and it's easier to punish movement.

It's better than ever to find a character you like expressing yourself with. And with the huge amount of buffs going around it's even easier to play how you want to without having "legacy" knowledge of the game.

The only thing that makes this game ♥♥♥♥, (aside from the elitism ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ from boomers) is how you find games.

There is no server browser, no continuous lobbies, no rematch option. You're stuck looking at the worst storefront in a video game ever between matches.

This game has so much to offer but someone within the dev team thinks making us look at cosmetics to buy for about half the time spent actually playing the game is a good idea.

Just avoid the game, buy quake live or hold out until diabotical.

do not bother
