As addictive as crack. I think. No personal experience with the stuff.
Game should be way, wayyy more popular than it currently is. Dev is also highly active and clearly passionate. Lots of content, fun, definitely a favourite of the space games in my library.

I'm hooked. Well and truly hooked. Music's great, artwork is splendid, the story behind it really tugs at your heartstrings. I was very pleasantly surprised by how addictive the gameplay loop is, it feels rewarding and I really don't even mind losing. I just feel bad for getting the kitty hurt :( Was surprised how much content is available as well given it's in EA, doesn't feel like it at all.

Dev is extremely helpful and friendly, and got back to me fast when my save game randomly decided to delete itself. Here's how to (hopefully) recover your save game if you've also had the same issues, what I was given help-wise.

You will find the save folder, on Windows:
On Linux:

In the folder you should find save_data.dat and save_data_backup.dat

• Make a copy of those two files in a different folder, for safety.
  
• Disable the Steam Cloud Sync for Chonkers (Right click in the library > Properties)
  
• In the save folder, delete save_data.dat and rename save_data_backup.dat to save_data.dat
  
• Start Chonkers and if everything is restored close the game and enable the Steam Cloud again.
  
• Next time you run Chonkers the Cloud should give an error. Simply confirm the use of the most recent save file.

Whilst Chonkers has its issues, the game is absolutely adorable and the artwork is great. The music is super chill and fits the vibes well. Kudos to the dev, too. Definitely recommend.

Great visuals and voice acting, compelling story and detective mechanics, music is on point and really good. The bleak, dystopian future setting of the game was definitely the biggest draw for me. Reminds me of a mix of Bioshock, Life is Strange (for some of the ways you interact with the environment), Fallout (the intro scene) and Cyberpunk 2077. Highly recommend. Not going to be everyone's cup of tea, however.

Super fun, super cute, it's like I'm playing P5R all over again for the first time. Never gonna be able to save a dime the way you guys keep threatening me with a good time with your great games. Thanks, Atlus.

Really love this little gem. The characters and artwork are adorable and delightful, the music and gameplay loop are really relaxing, and I do like the hats you can collect. Haven't encountered pets just yet. My only complaint is a lack of inventory space, desperately need more. Other than that, no issues.

No emotion, no soul, lacking substance. Music is nice, atmosphere is relaxing and it was *okay,* as far as games like this go, but I wouldn't say I had much fun playing it. Tries to do too much in one go, and doesn't particularly do anything that well.

My only regret? I'll never be able to play this absolute masterpiece for the first time again.

How this game isn't rated 100% positive is beyond me. Breathtakingly brilliant, fantastic music and artwork, everything's on point. It's one of my favourite games hands down.
