I have been playing Runescape since 2003 and loved every moment of it. The amount of content in this game is just mindblowing and quests are miles better than most if not all MMO's out there.

Most MMO's have quests that tell you ohhh go talk to this person, kill [insert number] of [insert enemy], deliver this... well Runescape throws that out the window and gives you actual RPG quests that are engaging and memorable.

Also this games skill leveling is better than most other MMO's because every skill has a very good use and works with other skills to create things.

The economy in this game is the best i seen by far. Most MMO's 90% of the items you get are bound to your character and you cant trade them once you try them on... In Runescape 90% of the items you can trade and are not bound to your character.

Worlds/Servers are done better than any MMO IMO. In Runescape you are not tied to a single world and can switch to any world you want at any time you want. The economy isnt world based and is completely global. If you put something for sale on 1 world its for sale on all worlds. This makes it much easier to buy/sell things since the economy is global. I always hated most MMO's way of doing servers because it really limits who you can play with and trade with.

Bosses are the next best thing. Most MMO's tie bosses to the end of dungeons that require a party of 4 people most of the time with one being a tank, healer, dps, or whatever. In Runescape theres none of that and you can do nearly every single boss solo or with friends if you choose to do that.

Classes... oh boy lets get into this. In most MMO's you have to pick a class to start and end the game with and thats what you are stuck with. Want to try a different class? Well tooooooo bad go cry a river and start the game completely over. Well in Runescape you can be whatever you want to be when you want to be it. Want to fight a boss completely solo and switch "classes" in the middle of a boss or hell or even in the middle of an attack well go for it. Some bosses even have different phases where a different "class" might be required. What i mean by "classes" is that classes are not based on your actual class(because there is no classes) but the weapon you equip. Thats right you can have whatever weapons you want at any given time and not bound by the dumbass class system most MMO's have.

The only con i have with the game is its hard to get into for new players because theres tons of content and its easy to get lost with all of that. If you are ever lost on what to do id suggest visiting the wiki and start some quests. Id personally say work your way up to the Dragon Slayer quest to get a good feel for the game.

Give Runescape a solid try for a few hours and im sure you will like it.

yeah thats my point if you have to install unity and isnt that nearly 30gb download, it would put off so many people probably including myself too XD

Im sure it will be no different than a regular unity plugin on the asset store. Im wondering how they will do the steam version tho. If its just the plugin you get with the steam version that is going to confuse a lot of people if it doesn't just work out of the box. But since its coming from a big company im sure they have a custom version of unity that comes with everything all pre-setup.

Either way ill be buying it on release day probably on the unity asset store. Unity has been the main game engine i been using for the past 10 years so im really excited to jump into it and make it my own. I will be overhauling the battle system lots to make it more on the lines of FF10 if its not already.
