This was another one of those cheap puzzle games where you can get better and more hardcore images online. There's even a warning at the beginning suggesting it's not "sexual content" because there's no sexual acts, but just naked female characters.

A positive is that there's only 16 achievements, unlike the previous one that stuck about three per level you passed to artificially make it 100 achievements, so I at least feel like I earned them as opposed to the previous one.

PS:

Double checked and they've been updating the game in what I assumed would be free extra puzzles for whatever reason, but no. For a game that costs less than £1, you can buy multiple DLC for only a handful of more puzzles that are probably just as easy, if not, easier to finish.

Ah, a HD remaster of a sequel to my favourite game on the PS1! Had lots of memories of Grandia and the sequel wasn't quite as good, but still very entertaining and I have always loved the way the magic system works, levelling up with use so you can gain better powers whilst grinding and not just levels. Not to mention, some spells require you to think creatively to hit as many enemies as possible.

The story is about the main character who is what they call a "Geohound" and are often treated like scum because they're often hired mercs who have a bloody and dangerous reputation, but he prefer his life this way as he runs from a dark past. He gets hired to attend to a dangerous matter where young priestesses were to sing as part of an ancient ritual, however, something goes wrong, escapes and releases monsters all over the temple!

This leads you onto a journey where you are tasked with finding a cure for this new team member and have to travel across the world whilst being haunted and chased by dangerous monsters and zealots. Not to mention, every part of the monster Valmar, is awakening and possessing people. Each one seems to represent a different aspect depending on what part of the body it is.

I'm going to try and not spoil it, but the ending had left me on edge and feeling empty, kind of like the first one where you don't get to see all the characters as they are now, older, the way this one ends feels like we're meant to just accept how things are no and there's no happy ending, in the traditional sense, for anyone. It's still a very fun game though.

This is a fun little game that scratches that itch I get when dealing with mobile games, even after I've already completed it and get to restart collecting all over again!

The game is designed as a joke at EA's expense for their implementation of the terrible microtransactions in Star Wars Battlefront 2 (not to be confused with the one released in early 2000s), their defence of "protecting cannon" and the spokesman from EA actually visiting the UK Parliament to defend this predatory, skinner-box manipulation that deeply affects those who are neurodivergent, like myself, as "Surprise Mechanics" and claiming that putting these lootboxes into the game was to give players a "Sense of pride and accomplishment" as if you can't feel good about finishing a game unless it's filled with extra, unnecessary grind!

It was extremely bad look as these things were, like what many companies do these days, sneakily implemented AFTER the reviews were all up praising the game. Pretty much the equivalent to having the slot machines work normally when the authorities visit and then as soon as they're gone, mess with the program to cause more losses than normal!

But this itself is just a fun little Gatcha system that's totally free and even makes fun of those systems by naming the first one you get to open and unlock cosmetics for being "Trash" and you can dress up and customise your trash however you want!

Without the controversy, this game wouldn't exist and I love how it's being used to laugh at the terrible excuses that evil companies like to lay out in the hopes that you're as stupid as they think you are.

A very quick matching tile game with furry porn to lure users into buying it as soon as it came out, made with limited effort and images that may have been sourced from other locations. The art is nice, but you can get far better stuff on e621, Furaffinity, DeviantArt, Inkbunny or even just random google search with the images.

It's not like a traditional slider puzzle so you can't lock yourself up by sliding things in the wrong place, the items are just placed differently like a Jigsaw with no teeth or indents so it's a very easy and small waste of time. Quite literally a waste of time and certainly not for your interest unless you can't look up porn for whatever reason or you want to exploit achievement spamming.

I got 100 achievements in this game for doing the bare minimum...

One of the weakest of the three I feel, the majority of this takes place on sea, which makes sense given the name, where you use a new speed-boat with mounted miniguns on it! This makes racing pretty easy like in Sleeping Dogs with the spy car, however, this also needs unlocks and the devs took the time to actually make these islands difficult to capture with the large amount of high-leveled enemies and all of them being fairly heavily armoured too so your equipment from the previous DLCs don't work too well.

Beyond this, it's actually quite short and it's hilarious how powerful the major weapon in this is, The Eden Spark, where you can call down lightning to destroy your enemies and eliminate just about anything with unlimited ammo. It's pretty insane how powerful this can be and makes things like tanks to be laughed at.

This is a cautionary tale of why you do NOT arm your officers in a prison with dangerous weapons since there's every chance that the prisoner will steal them and use them against you!

You spend much of your time freeing prisoners (Who may or may not have committed war crimes, but who cares they're on your side and this game about taking down a dictator isn't political at all!) to join the resistance and you even get a really cool summon later with one of these mechs along with summoning it as a vehicle for yourself.

In true prisoner fashion, you can also remove the core from one of these mechs to use as a extremely powerful rifle, though very unstable too! You also have a mech arena that I think I did just for the upgrades and the GRIP is essentially a super-sized Grav-gun from Half-life, but you're hurling huge buildings and vehicles all over the place and causing absolute chaos for the completely unprepared and under-armed soldiers that get in your way.

This DLC is pretty damn insane! First we have how it starts out where the device that is found that's fallen from the sky it used to modify your wingsuit, adding a jet pack that allowed me to all my friends' records for gliding, since it STILL counts as gliding in regards to those things and achievements so in some ways, it breaks the game in a way that is often reserved for modders.

As said, this is the "air" part of their three-set expansions "Air, Land and Sea" where you end up going up to a sky fortress, finding out what's going on and dealing with these super high-tech drones that like to drop from the sky to try and dig up the extremely valuable mineral under this island. What makes the suit even more dangerous is it has a mounted machinegun that's pretty powerful and when using it in the vanilla game can rain hell down on enemies and be gone before they even realised what happened. I was able to completely circle the entire island multiple times with little issue.

The rifle was also pretty incredibly powerful. Not to mention and loved the blue glow the weapon gave off as it fired out projectiles at high-speed and cutting through armour fairly easily. I'd recommend this for end-game or near end-game content unless you want to play this the same reason that I did to just blow off some steam and have a lot of fun!

This game was a request from one of my friends and I had no idea what I was in for, beyond the obvious lewdity from the images, however, I found myself fully enjoying it! There are so many qualities that made streaming it not only easy, but very enjoyable! You can set the level of nudity in it for streaming purposes and download the totally free mod to remove the censorship of the nudity in case you every really wanted to see the characters naked, though to be honest, the text of their moments of taking you to bed are hot enough with your own imagination.

The story is delightfully absurd, taking in both Victorian England setting and then making it sex positive and inclusive so that you can be whoever you want to be, having the choice of pronouns be "Sir, Madam or Boss" and you get to create your character along with your Rival's before starting the game. Both with hilarious outfits including a nude one I chose for the one I decided to call "Dr. ♥♥♥♥♥" which was hilarious.

The story is that you return from overseas after doing the typical things rich people did back then (with added lewdity and absurdity) and you are about to be knighted once more, however, it appears that all of your companies and assets had been stolen! Because of this, a shadowy figure appears offering to give you a loan and help you start up your empire once more, taking on business partners to get started in paying off your loan, building your empire and defeating your rival and their minions in violent take overs!

The many different executives are date-able (and you aren't tied to one per playthrough) and all have their own fun and quirky personalities with lewd art that can be unlocked and their own traits with strengths and weaknesses, given the situation. For example, Pip the cute tomboy loses less energy in combat than others when initiating a takeover and Antoine Hardmeat (yes, that's his name) uses less energy when working at the bank to generate funds and all the others have similar traits and benefits that end up being strategically important when things get difficult late game.

You have to conquer districts and work your way up to the final one where you face the boss and then have to beat them before finishing the chapter at moving on, but also making sure to keep up with the ever-increasing loan repayment that at one point, starts demanding gold bars meaning you now have another resource to deal with!

The game itself is a really fun one for completetionists as the achievements are tied into upgrades that you can unlock by playing the game normally, but also, has a rouge-like quality to it where even if you lose and have to restart, any and all upgrades you've unlocked are still unlocked and purchasable from the trader in game. As of writing this, I've unlocked MOST items, however, I still have more to go and I enjoy this game enough that I'm willing to play it again and again to unlock more as it's quite a chill game. These items can be really powerful as the more mundane ones add new placements to place more executives and others give passive bonuses to your company and executives, which is why they're important to track down and unlock.

Dating is comprised of minigames that keep up the same absurdist humour. Especially in regards to one of the first dates unlocked, Butler Battle, which is like a game of battle ships, but with your butler as the ship and having only one ship to do battle with.

Every character gallery has some shipping writing to read between the characters and you even get a small peek of this when friendships are unlocked where executives working together can build up levels where they get better at working on a job together, getting more resources when together on the same job.

This game was ultimately a hell of a lot of fun to play and I will be returning to it every so often as I'm trying to get the last few achievements and loving the dialog between the characters, the player and unlocking more items for later. I can't believe I've not reviewed this...I think I was waiting to return to this game and get all the achievements. Something I only save for games that really inspire me to go 110% for them. I originally streamed this years ago and certainly didn't know what I was going to get with this!

Now before continuing I'll get content warnings for this game out of the way for those that need them:
Sexual Abuse (referenced and suggestive imagery), gore (decapitations, blood, open wounds), body horror, Childhood Sexual Abuse (only written down and alluded to for first and DLC case) and that's all that comes to mind. I apologise if I missed any.

When I started this game up my assumption was that it would be a horror visual novel similar to others I had played in the past, being fairly typical and "middle of the road" in regards to horror (as there's only so much you can do with a VN, right?) however this would prove to be one of those that, like The Letter, has a lot of depth to it and can be really haunting. Even if you're the type not easily scared by horror or gore.

Unlike The Letter, this game doesn't have nearly as many branching paths, however, the choices in it were great and very fulfilling imo.

Story:
(It's been a while so bare with me...)
You play as someone who wakes up with amnesia and has a mysterious mark on your wrist. Soon you learn that it's a curse and when investigating a building that you feel a strange draw to and a clue about your curse you are greeted by a creepily human-like doll that's just sat there as if it were alive. The person you search for, turns out to be dead with flowers bursting from their stomach and before you can get any answers you meet a few strangers who were looking for the same person and needed help in their investigation of a haunted school.

The doll is actually alive and speaks to you about the curse, suggesting that they might be related somehow and you on on a adventure of tracking down these haunted locations and removing the spirits.

Gameplay:
As a VN you can imagine that there isn't too much here that you don't be expecting, that said, you are able to choose only one person to bring with you on these investigations and each one may give you a different insight or even have a skill to help with your investigation.

When you have a final showdown with the spirit, you have a selection of items to use that, when used, will create a different reaction and depending on what you do, you may either banish the spirit (effectively destroying the spirit and sending it to oblivion) or help them pass on (pacifying the spirit's rage, releasing everyone from it's curse and helping it pass to the other side) which in some cases were easy if you payed attention to who this ghost was, what happened in their life and, ultimately, how they became what they are now.

This adds more of a story aspect than real mechanical benefit from what I remember, but either ending is up to how you feel in regards to these lonely spirits who often ultimately died in a painful way that they didn't deserve. There are also timed sections where you need to make a choice or end up dead. A life-or-death situation where the wrong move can cost you your life which happens either due to the spirit finding you first before you are ready, a trap being set off or even attacked by a vicious/possessed animal. Again, the solutions are there if you look for them, however, not everyone will be able to identify them or even understand the order they need to be used in, but the save system is fairly generous so it isn't too bad. Again if memory serves.

The art is perfect in it's ability to portray images that evoke horror and fear. I wasn't too certain of it at the beginning, but I found myself really liking it. It's certainly not your typical brightly-coloured anime style and there is a lack of typical emotes like sweat drips and ect, however, this all just adds to the game. I don't think I could've taken these moments are seriously as I did when playing this if the art looked like, say, Hero Academia or Spy X Family. If anything, this is closer to Attack on Titan with it's use on dark colours that convey the seriousness of the series.

This is a really good horror VN that took me completely by surprise! I highly recommend it, but only if you can stomach through the content warnings mentioned earlier. They don't pull their punches in the topics of this game and it's all the more reason to play it!

Like numerous WB games, there's a LOT to be said about it. Not just from the content, but also the press surrounding it, how it went in heavily on microtransactions and even has a Orc Merchant character who smirks and cheers whenever you spend money to get random Orcs in these lootboxes.

This has been changed and gutted, but it's clear that this game was built with that in mind from the very beginning as all Orcs and Equipment have a rarity value that plays exactly like mobile games and MMOs (Commons, rares, epics, legendaries being the highest) making it a fact that cannot be ignored as it permeates every part of this game. That said, let's talk about the gameplay.

All I really have to say about storyline and gameplay is that if you enjoyed the first game, then you'll certainly enjoy this one. Especially in it's current state and not how it used to be prevalent with micro-transaction filth. Now it's a far better game, though flaws have been cleaned up too. However you also still have things like daily challenges and ect that remind you of it's failed attempt to be a full-priced game that was lousy with Micro-transactions.

The story essentially continuing the fight and battle from the first game, but then getting wiped out by the Dark Lord and having to start over. Interesting idea, however the only issue I have with this is you don't start with the ability to dominate Orcs and we all know that's one of the most fun bits of this game is dominating and controlling legions of Orcs. There's even a mechanic later of bringing them back from the dead to be zombies that are under your control!

With many side-missions to keep you entertained for hours, one of the things I hated using was the fighting pit. You have no control over your Orc as they fight a different orc and even if yours is a Legendary that you've leveled up, improved their abilities and more, they can still be defeated by a Common at half it's level making you curse the fighting pits and just getting on with the far more interesting side-missions like collecting artefacts, uncovering the past or finding Shelob's fragments that are scattered throughout the world and give you a look in her role for the rise of the dark lord.

Shelob has the ability to turn into a sexy woman, because, it's not like that's been done a billion times before! Though I admit she did have the voice of the very sexy Claudia Black so I also would like to give it a pass too. You get an ability to summon spiders if you find all of them, but it's a shame that the spiders come in only one size catagory and you can't, for example, have a Caragor-sized spider to charge around on, but that's a minor thing and it's especially fun when you're hunting a captain who is terrified of spiders so you immediately break him.

Without giving spoilers, the ending is certainly an interesting one and gives you a reason to come back and keep playing it and in a way that fits the narrative of the story, even giving you new powers and abilities to try out.

The game currently comes on sale quite often so if you're interested in more Shadow of Mordor, then certainly go ahead. If you want a fun action game then this is certainly fun and worth the price it often is on sale. Especially if you can get all the DLC to mess with extra characters and stories.
