I'm ashamed that I've not actually reviewed this sooner! It's one of those games that I watched a fellow streamer/friend play it and I then gave it my all to jump right in and buy it!

For more, here's my stream/Gameplay: https://youtu.be/JShYDr2FCFM

The game is where you start out as a young woman named Stella, with her pet cat, making way by boat to the Boatman of the afterlife, Charon. He gifts you the task of collecting souls and then when their time is right, taking them to the bridge where they can finally pass over into whatever waits for one's soul when it completes it's journey.

You inherit his boat and soon come across friends and family members who will assist you in cleaning up and improving the boat to meet yours and your guests needs, becoming a mobile town with the number of buildings by the end of the game!

Something of a narrative brilliance that this game does is it makes you feel for the characters as they are, at times, vague in who they looked like and ect in the living world, but they're people you know and the vagueness allows you to place upon them people you may have loved and lost in your life which led to my crying every time I took someone to the point and they were either anxious about what happens next, talk about their regrets and realisations and then finally, there's those who don't fully understand what's going on due to either memory problems of just their age when they died and I felt for EVERY SINGLE ONE!

I even promised myself at times that I wouldn't do it again next time, but I DID! I was in tears multiple times because the game does such a good job in making you care and love for these characters, identifying real-life people that they could relate to in your life. One that hit my hard was how my Nan had recently passed and one of the characters made me think of her so taking her to the gateway to pass on was...difficult.

It's a wholesome game about death, the impact we make on other's lives and the impact they make upon us too. The amount of crafting and discovery to be had in this game is so massive that you will be busy for many hours and I haven't even played the new "Farewell Edition" so I'm not certain how much even more interesting content and characters that they've brought into it.

I love the Shark Shipwright and his terrible jokes!

A quite fun little clicker game where you can play as different races and then have a soft-reset in a rogue-like style by gaining items and abilities that pass over with each different life that you take, often benefiting certain races more than the others. Later you're able to unlock more races and even the mercenary clan who can use all kinds of abilities from all the different factions to mix and match, creating some truly impressive combinations, though most of those I found by looking up guides online.

Being so addicted to this there's always the chance I may return to it again, but for now I have no issue just leaving it as it is whilst I try to work on finishing other games and writing up more reviews for Backloggd and other places!

It's certainly quite enjoyable, especially with the collectables found when excavating that unlock abilities and races. Often only unlockable via certain clans and not others.

So this game first came to my attention from Jim Stephanie Sterling mentioning it as, in it's original form, it was a fun little little premium game that only lightly tugged at you for money for rewards. no premium currency, no easy paths to completion or any of that crap. It was a fun little idle vault builder/management game with some extras, but nothing that was too aggressive.

However...Bethesda being Bethesda decided that wasn't good enough. Initially they had no interest in the game because they didn't think it'd do much and with limited micro-transactions wouldn't do much, so that's when they decided to add the "Nuke Quantum" as a new resource that just like every other manipulative game out there, is given to you in small amounts to speed up tasks, complete missions and so on that they added in one big update! Some of which, having story-lines that are better than anything they've produced in years, so take that how you will.

I still find myself coming back to it, but only ever begrudgingly. I never enjoy coming back to this and I feel I've invested too much to just ignore it forever. That said, I'm more interested in playing the original fallout games. Revisiting them and seeing what kinds of play through I can do. Especially since they were made before the series fell into the hands of this exploitative company.

If you're susceptible to addiction and gambling mechanics prevalent in so many free mobile games out there, I'd give this a wide birth. There's not really that much content in there to keep you invested for more than a few weeks so don't be like me and waste your time on this. There's far better idle games out there.

Been playing this game on and off and I love Neus the sexy goth girl! Perfect in every way, imo!

Anyway, it's disappointing that this game hasn't been finished after all these years, but having a loot at patreon, work is still being done on it and it is the work of a single studio so it's hard to criticise much. Not to mention, English isn't their native language so they have to navigate that minefield of a language that happens to be my own mothertongue.

The story is your roommate goes mad, attempting to rape a random girl in the woman's bathroom, she screams and to continue this story to punch the crap out of him, however, later he starts feeling ill back at the place and changing. Becoming more feminine and the girl admits she put a spell on him, turning him into a girl and opening up a potential romance route there.

The game is mostly smut and magic, not to mention the main character having such a huge ♥♥♥♥ that you'd swear he was part horse or elephant or something. I mean DAMN!

There are some very fun elements and I'll be looking forward to when I can play the full version in the future.

I finally got back to finishing this game and instantly remember my issues and why I hadn't come back to it in so long! The game is a horror where the characters get transported from their school to a deserted and falling apart school filled with ghosts, curses and the dead bodies of children of different kinds of ages.

The game is split up into different chapters and the characters are also split up into different areas of the school, completely cut-off from one another and at the mercy of these malicious spirits.

The story and writing I feel are done very well, though it feels like it's more censored than what I imagined when I heard about this game so often and so many visuals were missing compared to what I had expected to see. Still, it ends up achieving the rule "Sometimes, less is more" where even if you don't see the scene playing out, the description and sound effects are enough to make you conjure up images that could potentially be more disturbing that what the artists could achieve.

That said, this title has some pretty heavy flaws that I'll detail below:

-No Sprinting! (You have no ability to speed up your movement, which means if you're stuck, you can't run through all the places you've been previously but just walk slowly instead.)

- No Cuts! (If you attempt to get this game and you finish a chapter, even an alternate ending, you are forced to endure the credits and as the game refuses to run in the background you can't even mess around on YouTube to waste the spare time. Even if you've seen it once before, there's no skipping it!)

This was a difficult game to review, but I did genuinely enough it and getting all the ending to get a different angle up on the situation.

It's difficult to review the conclusion to this without spoiling, but I'll try.

This was a tough ending to watch and experience, but we get a look into the research and the items going before the main character of the first game enters the scene. Getting a look at the failed experiments behind the scene and the start of the downfall of Rapture is a VERY interesting part of the lore that we get to have a look at and this was one of those endings that's bittersweet, but also brilliant.

I had no idea where this game was going to go after the end of infinite, however, they had clearly put some great effort into the story and the opening scene where Booker Dewitt is in Rapture working and gets hired by Elizabeth to search for a little girl who has disappeared, most likely as one of the little sisters.

The majority of the game is where you play as Elizabeth who is one of the best characters and is certainly meant to have been the main character as it was totally her game.

Debt. Debt is the main focus of the narrative of this game both financial and metaphorical, but I won't go into spoilers, but I hope those who have played the game agree with what I mean!

The game is quite beautiful visually and holds up really well even these days from the real damn hard work that they've done when making this game. However, much like rapture, it too has it's own problems revealed later on with the corruption and revolution not far away.

The concept was certainly very different, being a far more religious-based situation with regards to how Comstock and his followers deify the founding fathers. Buying into the worst of their bigotry and classism. They game has Vigors instead of Plasmids, but often act the same, but have some new abilities too like releasing crows and such. You play as a PI, down on his luck and owing money to the point that he's been offered this one job to get rid of his debts. "Bring us the girl and the debt will be paid" which gets repeated often due to the aforementioned fact it's the focus of the narrative.

The levels are all huge and part of that is due to the skyhook that gives you a hell of a distance to travel by hanging on these wires and giving a whole new angles to the combat. Not to mention using it as a melee weapon when needed too. It's a really great game with not just great mechanics, but a great narrative and a beautiful ending and a wonderful character in Elizabeth.

With my current situation I can't continue playing the newer or even older Hitman games, so I decided to try out this game and actually see what it's got to offer and I found a fairly good and even addicting puzzle game.

You have a limited positions to move on the board of each level, but not limit on the turns *unless you're aiming for achievements* to reach your goal. In the majority of the levels, you just need to get to the end without being taken out by the guards, collecting keys on the later levels to open doors and gates, but the assassination levels you have to take out the target to win and end the mission.

As a fan of the Hitman games, loving Blood Money when younger, every assassination mission has "Ave Maria" playing, as played from Blood Money, which is a lot of fun as I do love that tune, though the rest of the missions are fairly generic background music that I didn't even put my headphones on because I wasn't interested in it. It was also quite successful at distracting me from my current obsession.

It's certainly no replacement for any of the Hitman games, however, it is quite fun and if you're in a puzzle mood, it's good and I've played far worse!

This is a fun little game, however being quite a simple puzzle game there isn't much more to it beyond being Sudoku and having fun calming far-eastern music. Not to mention I love how it gives you the chance and options to make it as hard or easy as you would like.

Nice little time waster, nothing much else to really add tbh beyond being fairly old it messed with your screen resolution so beware for all the other windows you may have open at the time.
