A great game and very fun. It takes me back as I remember playing Warhammer 40k as a kid since I had no group of friends who enjoyed dungeon mastering. Many of the units are very memorable of that past time and the story of this is one-sided (unlike the expansions) though memorable. It will suck you in though and hours will go by without knowing it.

now Winter Assult is a different kind of creature. You are able to choose sides either Order (Imperial Guard & eldar) or Chaos (Orks and Chaos Marines) however on the 4th mission you can change between the two and whoever you win as, you get to do the final mission with them. This way there was a lot more flexability, however it opens up holes in continuity like C&C where no matter who you win as, there will probably be no mention of it, apart from C&C 3 where each story ended, but all the endings entwined together.
