I bought this a long time ago when it was in early access. It was okay. Decided to shelve it for a while. This released version is not so good. For me it's the audio. The music is generic and annoying. The voice acting is not good and sounds over processed. The sound FX are overwhelming. Everything audio-related makes the game very unpleasant for me.

I grew up with Robocop, so I am a fan. This game was made for people like me. It does Robocop very well. It's no AAA game. The story is very "tropey" and the game play is bit rough around the edges, but there is a good game in here. I got this game for the cost of a cup of coffee. I highly recommend it when on sale. Maybe only buy it at full price if you're a big fan of Murphy.

Pro Tip; Put ALL of your points in Deduction to get it maxed first. Not doing so kind of hinders your build.

This is a great game! It feels like playing a lush interactive board game. I've never quite played an RTS like it and I would rank it among the top strategy games I've played in recent history. There is some fantastic gameplay here, but you have to get over the learning curve to fully appreciate it. I bought this game a while ago and tried to get into it multiple times over the course of a year. This last time I decided to give it a solid final attempt and approach it more like learning a board game. I was blown by how good it is. This almost became a dusty game on my shelf, but turned into a something I will play for years. There is ALOT of synergy and strategy and it scratches so many itches.

I have only a few gripes, but they are very minor and relate to QoL things so I won't post them here. If you like RTS games or board games and have the patience to learn, this game is highly rewarding. Buy it!

I love this VTT. It's the reason my old D&D group got back together. I do not regret buying it and my time in it has been an absolute blast. However, there is one very large caveat; making maps is painfully tedious. It takes hours to make some maps and that takes away from precious D&D prep time. If Talestavern didn't exist, this would be a hard pass. Talestavern is why someone should buy this map making software and it is, to me, the main selling point. It makes the software shine. And I think a lot of people don't even know about it after purchasing. Well, here is your PSA. Essentially, you can copy codes directly from the Talestavern website and paste them right into Talespire. BAM! it auto builds the map from the site into your instance of Talespire. The first time I did this it was a revelation. It has made a lot of prep very very easy.

I do wish that the software was a bit better without Talestavern, though. It would be nice if they offered some kind of importer to work with other mapping software. Maybe a json importer so I can import stuff from Dungeon Alchemist or Dungeon Draft. The actual map making needs some more automation. Maybe some auto wall features as drawing walls can be frustrating. Would even be cool to be able to lay my map.png over the creative space so I can trace it in Talespire. Also, the ability to reference a pdf collectively in game would be huge.

I've spent well over 100 hours into this software, so I am very familiar with its quirks. It's this double edged sword of having all of Talestavern for fast prep, but if I want to build a custom dungeon from my adventure book, I am looking at 4 - 6 hours of prep time just to make the map. I don't have that kind of time.

In the end I do recommend it. It's a powerful tool to have on your GM tool belt.

My hat is off to Ironmace. I didn't think there could be a more toxic community than League of Legends. The devs managed to slap together a bunch of mechanics that foster the sweatiest players. This is essentially a grief simulator. If you buy this game (don't), just remember that the only thing that matters is movement speed. The entire game is built around this one stat.

This is an experience I feel most people need. I won't even explain the game. Just give it a chance. it is worth the ride!

From the surface this game can be a hard sell. There is a really good game in here. At first I was put off by the aesthetics of it all, but it has grown on me quite a bit. If you like to theorycraft builds and see them play out, this is definitely the game for that. The dev seems super cool too.

This is a good game. However, it could have been absolutely great. For some reason (money) the devs chose to release this on Epic exclusively for a year. I don't buy games there because I don't like to support Tencent. I feel, if this game was released on Steam and GOG at release, it would have taken off. Again, it is a good game. It just flopped because the devs wanted a payout from epic. We would have gotten so much more updates, bug fixes and support if they didn't choose to bow to Tim Sweeney

Game is fun, but doesn't run in Linux. The competition (Dark and Darker) works flawlessly in Linux. Both games are developed in the same engine with the same assets...
