insane game for insane people

the greatest action game ever made

you've heard it a million times but prey: mooncrash is the better version of this, and its cheaper too. fun to be had, animation work is beautiful, but prey is all of that in a more tightly designed package.

just install morrowind code patch and better fonts. nothing else is needed for a first playthrough, the jank-ass visuals are part of the charm.

If this is your first time playing, you'll probably be turned off by the chance-based combat, and I don't blame you. Just remember that this was made to be like an infinity engine cRPG (i.e baldur's gate), but first person. keep that in mind, and the roll-to-hit combat will be a lot more palatable.
When I played this on my dad's xbox as a kid, I'd always get to balmora and then just refuse to do anything story related. This game allows you to go off script and kill story npcs, which I used to think was the funniest ♥♥♥♥ (and still do). Skyrim and Oblivion hold special places in my heart as well, but Morrowind is easily my favorite bethesda game. do yourself a favor and play it.

for the love of god do not buy this unless you plan on modding it because it is quite literally unplayable vanilla. banger tho

it's good! lots of depth to character building, mostly unannoying characters, and a somewhat interesting story. I feel that some of the charm from Kingmaker has been lost, but whatever isn't there has been replaced by more mechanics and an adjustable camera.

after like two hours you've seen everything. fun gameplay, but it's mindless and quickly becomes repetitive. I'd save ur money for now.

all of my playtime is on other platforms lol but this is fr one of my favorite games of all time, the INCREDIBLE soundtrack, the stellar art, and the laid back gameplay make this one that I always come back to at least once a year. if comfort could take the form of a game it would be this
