Any ideas how to run it in a windowed mode? "-window" is not working in Steam settings, alt+enter is not working.

I'd like to beat this game at least once. After that I'll probably play it again with some different options, but I'd just like some tips for how to make the game as easy as possible for a new player, but without actual cheating. Does anyone have any tips for me in regards to builds, items, or anything else that make it easier? I just started playing this game and saw that you can be an ACTUAL necromancer, so of course that's what I decided I was going to be. The problem is I have no idea what I'm doing. My only real experience with these types of games is with Fallout 2 and Underrail, so I'm not really sure how I'm suppose to be building my character.
