Thoughts about the new 1.14 Bounty Hunter Update

I really liked the change of pace and style of the game, adding a new breath. New quests had me more invested in them storywise than any other quest in the game. Also new items you can buy for completing them sure does sound nice.

But on the other hand, they feel as repetitive as always.
Flying to one place to find a bunch of dudes, kill them and then follow the lead to the other place. Jumping like that for about 3-4 times before you get the chance to kill the big guy, who feels just like another randomly generated thug with nothing special to it.
All you get for wasted time and fuel is some tokens and level up. Without the nice feeling of satisfaction for hunting down a criminal it's nothing, and right now the game does not give you such a feeling.

The only time I felt so cool while completing those quests were random rewards on the move. Like when you find a big stash full of fuel in the bandit's hideout. I wish there were more of those. (Like, come on, you are chasing criminals down for their final hideout, and all they have in stash is 400 pixels and a couple of mech parts? No big piles of stolen money, no weapon stash? I call BS on that one)

Right now all I wish for this update is to give more rewards like that on the go, while you're completing the quest. Less flying from star to star, because it just gets annoying really fast. And maybe add some more interest to the big criminal chasing, like add them more variation of attack moves so the fight feels interesting. Have them run away from you or fly out in a mech (so, you know, you had a feeling of actually chasing them).

I wish those changes will go live, because I love this game, and I hope it keeps delivering. Otherwise, all we have to rely on is mods.
