As a solo player, the "campaign" still feels like you're playing on an empty MMO server. Very early fetch sidequest had respawning items.

Game is very niche, don't recommend unless you and your buddies are into dwarf larping. Refunded.

This game is clearly unfinished and should not have been released in the state it was. Multiple systems in the game are broken, and unless you take the time to terraform your city with the studiousness of a bonsai tree, it is going to look disgusting and unrealistic after just a short amount of time. The poor graphics optimization also render this title almost unplayable unless you have a bleeding edge rig.

Shame on Paradox Interactive for forcing CO to release this half formed turd.

I was nervous when they announced a week's delay five days before launch, and unfortunately, my fears were justified. I really wanted to give this a thumbs up since I've been a VtM fan since the late 90's and it's been so long since we got a Vampire video game, but alas, it is not meant to be.

The game nails the feel of Vampire. It looks good for a visual novel. The soundtrack is pretty decent. That's about all the good things I can say, though.

Things start off well enough and I was hyped for the first hour, then the bugs started tearing their ugly head. Typos and glitches like placeholder code for your character's name being in the text instead of your actual name. Being able to use disciplines you don't have. Scenes not triggering. For them wanting to take an extra week to fix things, I don't even want to think about what this would be like without that extra time.

You also get the illusion of being in charge of the narrative, and then you get rammed into the ending sequence with the power of a freight train. And while the ending itself is very on brand with VtM, the way the devs go about it is clumsy and just very poorly written.

6.5/10

I simply love this game.

Take Diablo, add some light clicker-style game elements that actually reduce the amount of clicking and hotkey bashing you would do in Diablo, and package it all up with a charming art style.

I can't recommend this game enough.

Really interesting ARPG with a great premise. Take the overall feel of the first Resident Evil and mix in a more scientific version of Supernatural and you've got this game.

The combat does take a little getting used to due to the clunky WASD control scheme but you'll eventually be able to find your groove. There's also a lot of room for optimization but the game looks absolutely stunning.

This is Early Access done right, and I can't wait to see what the devs have in store!

I really wanted to like this game and was anticipating its release when the closed alpha footage started circulating on Youtube. I bought it on release and dove in.

Hindsight being 20/20, I should have stopped playing before I hit the two hour mark and requested a refund. Bugs are still common despite the developer constantly making attempts to patch, sections of the game are still not complete (Town and Fort, lol), and the long term game play is mired by a really steep, pointless grinding curve.

This doesn't play like a full release; it's as if the developers were crunched for cash and just released from the closed alpha without bothering to actually "finish" the game. I'm officially done playing but I'm making a note to come back in six months and see if anything has changed.

Backed on Kickstarter because the concept looked awesome. The concept is still awesome, and it's great getting a 60's flavored dystopia to play around in, but that's where the train stops.

The stealth mechanics are janky, and the "crafting" system is a holdover from back when everyone and their dog was making a survival game. Combat is meh and takes a bit to get used to. Take Bioshock and turn it into melee-only. Then, turn the plasmids into different gadgets and make hoovering every square inch of the map a necessity to keep your inventory stocked with mats to make them. Keep the really awesome atmosphere and storyline.

It makes one wonder what would have happened if Gearbox had stayed out of the picture.

It's HuniePop meets Sin City.

Only giving this a YES because there's no "Meh?" option. It's priced right for what it is: a simple match-three with amazing art, okay music, passable voice acting, and a wafer thin plot.

Bear in mind the story branhes and how you get your endings are pretty minimal and there's absolutely no replay value. I've got 3.4 hours in, could round it out to an even 4 if I wanted to faff about getting the last two achievements.

There's really not much here to help redeem the game. The art style and music are nice, but everything else is just...blah.

The controller support is lackluster.
Grid/environment navigation is horrible. Does it look like you can move there? Nope.
The mechanics of farming are incredibly out of whack. Stamina drains incredibly quick.

I'll say A for effort, F for execution.

I'm liking the concept, but in its current state, I can't recommend. The UI has improved over time, but there's still a few navigational issues. Since the Computer and Hardware menus are basically tied together, if you click on the wrong one and just want to get back to the main map, you have to click X through five menus or so.

The game balance has changed a bit since the research tree and pacing has been tooled so you can't develop modern God-tier boxes in the early 80's, but there's some stuff running under the hood that makes it really tough to actually get ahead, or something was recently broken. For example: I could start to see sales slow and then expand out to countries I can afford, only to not sell a single unit at all in those countries. At all.

This game needs a lot of quality of life improvements and a ton of balancing before I'm able to give this a thumbs up.
