my play time is not accurate. I've got a bad habit of leaving games running.
my friend bought the game for me.
the game looks and sounds great, but I've just not had fun playing it. I kept going because I wanted to see it through to the end but I've been so fed up after picking it up again... I dropped it a while back and just didn't wanna play it for a long time. thought it might get better after the part that really annoyed me, but... not so much.
my thumbs down isn't an absolute Not Recommended... I could recommend it to some, but not all.

not a terrible game, but not one I would recommend. it's too scattered in terms of story, and I'm disappointed in how and when it ended. felt so abrupt. maybe if it went on for longer I'd at least be a bit happier with it personally. at least a friend bought it for me, and at least she didn't pay full price. I really like a large majority of the characters, and it's really disappointing that you get to know some of them so well, but then nothing goes anywhere. I spent some time reading negative reviews... many are ridiculously overexaggerated. people complain about "everyone" being a lesbian... which isn't true. people complain about boobs being a point of conversation all the time... which also isn't true.
this game has excellent aesthetics and music, and the vibes are entirely comfy. if that's all you want, VA-11 HALL-A is perfect for you. otherwise, look elsewhere.

this game is one instance where I really do not get why people are mad about asking pronouns. the standard options are all first. getting mad about that question is really petty.
anyway, this demo was quite underwhelming. far too short, mostly dialogue. not enough for me to decide whether I'd like the whole game or not. the voices annoyed me, I turned them off quite quickly. and I don't know if it's just a problem on my end, but the text was way slower than the voices.

I'm really indifferent about this demo, but I also wouldn't recommend it.

this game is actually really fun, but was making me dizzy and a little sick. wish the game had a third-person camera option. that might actually help a lot. biggest problem is that it's hard to tell where you'll land when you jump. reaching high shelves is really, really difficult. because of those things, I can't recommend it. :(

nice game. bought it on a whim because summer sale and I think it came up in my discovery queue or I just thought of it after I saw something else, I can't remember. anyway, I think this game has stood the test of time and is worth playing today. not sure if I'd pay the normal price for it, but it's worth playing regardless. the game looks cute, but is actually kinda creepy and depressing tbh. I like it for that, but figured I should throw it out there.

a really cute and calming clicker game, comparable to Plantera. this game requires more effort on your part than most clicker games do, though. additionally, you do not get anything from the game when it's closed, unlike most other clicker games. if you're ok with both of those things, you will probably enjoy it. I hesitate to say it's worth full price, that really depends on the person. I picked it up on sale. kinda wish it had more than that single music track, though. or like, a softer variation of it playing when it rains.

I can't get into this. shame, as it was a gift from a friend and I waited quite a while to be able to play it. it looks good and has nice music, but playing it isn't fun. I watched a playthrough on YouTube a long time ago, but decided it was still something I wanted to experience for myself. I forgot most of it rather quickly, all that I remember is the ending... because it made me angry. I won't talk about that, many people have already. regardless, repeated failures at fighting off enemies has left me bitter and unable to enjoy the game. it also doesn't run super smoothly, unfortunately. which I didn't expect.
additionally, the game doesn't have a super clear-cut story, things are vague and confusing. so if you want to play this game for the story, it's really not the best choice you could make.
