Solid gladiator game with roguelite elements (when you die - you're starting over again with different character).

Imagine for a second Paradox will create the game which have CK3 diplomacy and internal government management, war mechanic from HoI4, economy and trade management from EU4 and map scale from Stellaris? o.O

HoI4 is good if you are brave enough to buy trillion of released DLCs.

Long story short: the game is literally medieval Rimworld in 3D with map levels mechanic from Dwarf Fortress.

Exactly the type of game I was looking for. Game is still in development and getting frequent updates but at the current state it is 100% playable. If you looking for colony builder in medieval setting - this is the game for you. Love it.

I guess after this Steam release we don't need any AAA games anymore.

Literally Dwarf Fortress / Rim World on steroids!
You start as a small village with couple of peasants, hours later you end like a city-state with vassal territories that paying you taxes, doing wars with same states nearby, trying to conquer the world. From group of like 10 militia units to massive armies of professional well-trained soldiers with thousands of units.
Brillinat game, developed by one man.
Do you like sandbox colony building with fantasy medieval setting and procedurally generated worlds, also with Total War-like battles? Then this game is a must-have for you. 100% recommended!

Better play without a sound or get ez crippling depression.

Probably one of the best Paradox games ever released so far.
Great historical (kinda) sandbox with lots of content and wonderful atmosphere.
Managing your own dynasty is very interesting, also every playtrough is unique. True diamond while played in co-op.
UI and graphics are great (in comparsion of Europa Universalis 4 or Crusader Kings 2), music is awesome.
100% recommended.
