Crusader Kings meets Civilization in space setting. What can be better than this?!

Literally the best 4X strategy about space in history with infinite replayability.
Also music in this game is masterpiece, creating beautiful atmosphere of exploring, space war or diplomatic battles.

Very rough start - it feels that I'm playing on Beta build and they call it "Release". Thats actually pretty sad.

Long story short (in order of importance):
1. Poor optimization / FPS drops. From straight 80-100 fps in space to 15-18 fps on planetary stations, especially when doing conflict missions.
2. Servers performance. I keep getting disconnects all the time. Yesterday we tried to play co-op - we did like 3 missions together, so I got 4 disconnects in ~1.5-2 hours of playing this DLC. And every disconnect you spawn on station you was before mission and every time you're forced to use Apex to fly back.
3. AI behavior is actually pretty dumb. This is critical moment for first person shooter.
4. Very strange work with light. All details looks darker and also with contrast on max. Eyes getting tired really fast. Also it looks worse than in Horizons.
5. New UI is really bad (when on foot). Also changes of Galaxy map are horrible.

Don't get me wrong - I really like ED, but this DLC is a f**king mess.
Will change review after Frontiere will fix the DLC and make it playable.

Alright guys, here we go.
For everyone that made this mistake: next time DON'T buy Omega status DIRECTLY from Steam - the status will go to your Steam-Eve account! Use Eve in-game tools or CCP official website to buy Omega through Steam to be authenticated as your main account and everything will work as it should.

For now I am waiting for refund from Steam support because CCP support sadly can't resolve the issue at the moment.

Solid software for capturing screen video / cutting / editing etc. Recommended, really good sh*t.
For developer: please add push-to-talk setup during video capturing already! I don't use voice activation, only push-to-talk and its really annoying that this software records my mic sound non-stop.

Well, I thought the game will be something like the old game Gansters: Organised Crime. It was a masterpiece back in my day, so I waited Empire of Sin with high hopes. I was wrong I guess.
First look:
* graphics and sound are nice
* gameplay is pretty simple, without any real depths (combat/game mechanics/ecomonics)
* some of the game mechanics are interesting (crime bosses combat skills for example)
* turn-based combat difficulty depends of the number of opponents (more is harder)
* AI is pretty weak in my opinion

Overall: can't really recommend this game for a full price. If you're gangsters games fan - get it on discount.
Just 3 hours spent, will give it another shot after a few updates.

As an old Alien movie fan - I love this game, I love the setting, I love how it looks. The game have giant potential to be honest. Building and scavenging for resources, leading the expeditions to planets, exploring derelic ships - this is really brillinat, I enjoyed it very much.
BUT! I cannot recommend this game (only for now of course) because of f**king space bugs and spores and funguses spawning in your ship after expeditions and resource refining.
As some guy said here already: "spend most of your time checking every single cm2 of your ship for hidden eggs to destroy, because they could spawn bugs (that will spawn eggs, etc...)". Well, this is really incredibly infuriating. I say we need some f**king technologies against that s**t, because unfortunately it becames 85% of your game experience - search for eggs, kill them, repeat. The crewmates-clones can't go to the vents and destroy the freaking eggs, so you need to do it by yourself over and over. If you will build tonns of auto cannons - they will shoot only the aliens by itself, but not the eggs and spores. Holy s**t it's annoying!
Will definitely change the review if this part of the game will be patched a little, because in the current state it's really makes me scream desperately sometimes, lol.

Abandonware, don't bother. Could be a great game tho. RIP.

Probably the best skateboarding simulator game on PC at the moment.
Despite the early access, some bugs and strange physics sometimes - definitely must have for skateboarding fans.

8 years of waiting was f**king worth it.

The game is good.

Best Total War game ever made in this wolrd. Masterpiece.
