It's a fun, well made Borderlands-esque roguelike FPS. If that sounds fun to you then you will like this game. It is tons of fun playing co-op! Basically, a more fun version of Gunfire Reborn as the combat is a bit faster paced which I like better.

Definitely worth the asking price and I highly recommend you play it through with a buddy or two.

Great tower defence game! Worth the six bucks I spent on it for sure. If you like Bloons TD you'll definitely like this one. The only downside is that I wish there was more of it! I would gladly pay for a DLC with more tower variety. Not that there isn't good variety already but I want more.

If you enjoy science fiction, 6 DOF gameplay, a good story, rewarding exploration, and a solid mystery to unravel then this game is for you. Don't look up anything about it as going in totally dark is the way to go to.

This game is so damn good.

9/10

A hidden gem that truly stands out from the abundance of indie games. Ctrl Alt Ego is an immersive sim that stands on its own feet through a primary game mechanic I have not seen before which makes it feel fun, and original. If you like to play games your way where there are multiple ways of going about achieving the task set out for you then this should be right up your alley. This is one of the very few games that I can say you can play your own way. I was astounded at how many ways I could go about most of the tasks in this game. It is full of very smart wit and maintains a charm throughout that few games are able to offer. The whole game is just a breath of fresh air and it was great to play through something with substantial character the whole way through. The dev is very competent at writing and crafting an interesting game world. This game also has immense replay-ability due to how many skills and upgrades are available. You could do a few runs through the main game with completely different builds which would change the play style considerably. My only regret is that I didn't do my first play through on hard - that was a mistake as it was bit too easy which made me lazy when it came to strategy as guns blazing was an easy option.

This game is fantastic and worth every penny at full price.

Update: The developer has added an entire new chapter for free! I think this one of the very few games that I'm going to buy the OST just to give the developer a little extra money. I can't believe that such a huge add-on was done through a no extra charge update rather than as a paid DLC. Honestly, I would have paid for the DLC and been happy about it as I'm pretty sure this is a solo dev project and they deserve our money because they've truly made something special.

Parkour FPS with bullet time that has some of the best movement I have ever had the pleasure of playing. The devs know what they are doing and they do it extremely well. If you like to run and gun with tight mechanics then this is a shooter for you. The aesthetic style is also very pleasing especially with ray tracing on which doesn't hammer the FPS too much.

Bought it for the Half Like campaign and stayed for the rogue like STALKER. The campaign was fun and did feel like it was done in the vein of Half Life. The gravity arm and shooting mechanics are all on point and very well done. I enjoyed the campaign which took me about 7 hours on the second highest difficulty. The real meat of the game, however, is in the Zone Patrol mode where you strike out into an open world and play a non-linear campaign. It is very well done and what I will remember about ADACA rather than the campaign. If you like STALKER and rogue like games this is most definitely for you. There are tons of guns to unlock, lots of secrets to find, and a good story to keep you going. ADACA came out of nowhere, I bought it on a whim during a sale, and oh boy am I ever happy that I did.

Worth full price.

This is one of the rare games that really shows me why I love gaming. It is so unique in terms of the art and the graphics are really damn good, while the gameplay mechanics are solidly on point from start to finish. The developers have been able to make a game that is absolutely dripping with atmosphere, which is really hard to do. Every level is so unique and beautiful that I often stopped just to admire the set pieces, general art and amazing illumination. The music is absolutely on point, with every level having its own themed banger and I found myself playing this game louder than I play the vast majority of games to really vibe with the music while I was blasting monsters away. The gameplay is like Quake when it is in closed environments and Serious Sam when those environments open up. If you like fast-paced shooters, then you absolutely can't miss this one. Also, the weapon design is very cool, with a couple of totally unique guns like the leech launcher that can leech health and armor from enemies that you can pick up once they fill up and drop off or the enemy is dead. This is such a wonderful game in every respect and it is a tragedy that it has flown under the radar.

My only three complaints are that it is very short, and it left me wanting more. It took me 6 hours to beat the game, and that is with redoing a level once to find an area that I missed. The second complaint is that playing it on hard felt a bit too easy, and there was really no challenge for me throughout the game - even so, I still had an absolute blast from start to finish. This may just be because I really like boomer shooters and, I guess, am quite good at them, though there should be at least one more tier of difficulty so those of us who want it can get a real challenge. The third is that it is artificially limited to 60 or 120 FPS, which really seems like a console game choice to me - I have no idea why you would limit it and not let people with monster rigs, or future rigs, run it at higher frame rates. The second part of the third complaint is, again, it feels like a console game choice, is that there are no real graphics options other than low, medium, high, and ultra. Why not let us tune the graphics to perfection for our own PC? This just makes no sense as a PC game to me and maybe they made the game with the console in mind while the PC version was an afterthought - I don't know. Hopefully, these complaints will be rectified in future patches, as they are all easily fixable, while there is nothing wrong with the core of the game.

At the end of all this, I say illWill is an absolute do-not-miss if you like old school shooters and the talent on display here really separates this from most of these types of games that I have played. They really created something special here and I am looking forward to seeing what is in store for the team in the future.

EDIT1: I just started a play through with double spawns as I haven't gotten enough of this game after beating it the first time and it seems much more appropriate to the level of difficulty that I would have preferred on the first go around. I like that they included an option to play it after beating it once on a harder difficulty but I kind of wish it was available to me from the start. Still enjoying illWill immensely!

Not enough variation and gets repetitive too quickly. It's a hollow game with little to offer. Definitely not the worth the asking price. Maybe for 5 bucks on sale it might be worth it to play for a couple hours but even then I might say pass. My buddy and I played it for much longer than we should have as we thought there would be something interesting unlocked at some point but that never happened so we just put it down for good.
