Thoroughly impressed with the combat in this game. 5 abilities on the action bar but you have the option to swap abilities out with whatever fits your play-style. One thing I dislike about a lot of the current MMO's is ability spam due to being able to use 20-30 abilities without almost no cool down. I love the combat on Conqueror's Blade because you have to time and use your abilities correctly. It's also not too confusing for new players.

I feel as though this game is almost falsely advertised on Steam. It appears as this amazing open-world MMO with stunning visuals. I was asking myself why aren't more people streaming or playing this. Not to say there's not a lot of players but a game like this felt like it should be at the top with other MMO's. Everything was well with this game until I left the Fife (the town) and realised the game had turned into a completely different game to the game I was originally playing. As soon as you leave the Fife you're met with a birds eye style strategy game that felt very much like Mount and Blade. I found myself trying to find ways to not leave the Fife because I hated it that much. I was looking forward to world exploration before this, maybe some raids or go fishing similar to a traditional MMO. This doesn't make the game bad, I just wasn't into this new style of game I was restricted to and didn't feel very 'open world' to me.

Overall I found the game very repetitive with the constant seige battles I found myself doing. After a while I realised this was all the game had to offer for the time being. Seige battles is literally 90% of the content in this game. You will be doing these over and over again. I would still recommend trying this game as the combat in this game is an incredible amount of fun and all the game really needs is LOT more content. An actual open world similar to a regular MMO separate from the Mount and Blade style would also go down a treat. The art style is there, the combat feels great, why not have both options?

This game brings back memories of the original Battlefront games on Xbox. With a rocky start with Micro-transactions and a huge backlash from the community, this game has really made a massive turn around. The game is no longer pay-to-win as far as I'm aware, at least that is how it feels. New characters, new game modes as well as no longer needing to buy certain heroes or villains.

Although you can do well without purple cards, I do believe that players with purple cards vs a player with no cards will almost always get absolutely smashed (depending on the character). That's my only complaint as of now. It's however a lot of fun grinding to level up your characters to get these cards.
