VRChat is a great place to hang out for both NON-VR and VR headset users.
I'll be quite honest tho, you're only going to get about 10% of the experience with NON-VR, because nothing surpasses the experience of feeling like you're ACTUALLY standing in front of someone. Volume, Height, Mass, Depth, and Distance all become about as immersive as they can get while you are in the VR experience. I have plenty of friends tho that use the NON-VR version of the game, and still have a great time in there.. it's just more like Second Life that way, but you become pretty limited with movement.

But with the headset on, talking, hanging out, watching film, and doing pretty much anything in VR becomes next level. That said, VRChat is filled with some AMAZING artistic talent when it comes to avatar and world building. Ever wanted to exist inside of a dream world, now you can do that here.

There can be a bit of a problem though with randoms.. (just like any other game), and so it's a great idea to latch on to a community or a group of friends to hang out with here, because in Public worlds the game isn't as great all the time unless you want to hear kids screaming negative crap into the mic. So just becareful, and USE THOSE SAFETY FILTER SETTINGS!!
