first thing just to say it, the queue times are terrible, it might say I have 0.3 hours of playtime but that is a complete utter lie, I understand that there is alot of hype and everything but this is a AAA studio they should be able to handle this, another thing is im not talking about the microtransactions because I got annoyed before I got there

ok now onto the real review

1. forced anti-cheat
this is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ skating game why do i need to install an anticheat, what the hell are you preventing, im not sure if its kernel level or not but it most likely is so thats just terrible

2. that wire-back clanker
I hate its voice and there is no option to turn it off or replace it, cant i just get some beeps and some text?

3. no kbm
there is no excuse for this, kbm should always be an option especially if its released on PC, I could get a program to translate my keyboard inputs to controller inputs and it would work fine I have no idea why this isnt supported

4. the controls
i have probably a total 1 hour playtime on other skate games (although this game convinced me to get out an xbox 360 and play skate 3) so I have no idea if this is standard but I hate these "Flick-It" controls or whatever they call these dumb useless mechanics, they expect way too much precise controls for such simple tricks

5. forced online
self explanatory, just let me play on my own. also connects to point 1 because there would be no point in anti-cheat (not that there is in the first place) if i could play on my own

tl:dr: game has forced online/anti-cheat and terrible controls, go buy a xbox 360 or download xenia and go buy a copy of skate 3.

i ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hate the EA app, otherwise i love the game, sure i get matched up against people who have constantly played the game for 8 years but somehow i still stand a chance and manage to get some kills

im ass at the game but the game is so great that even though im constantly dying and the only kills i get are W+M1 pyro im still having fun

its literally garry's mod, should come with steam at this point
