BioShock Infinite is a beautiful culmination of retro-futuristic concepts that result in one of the most enjoyable experiences a video game can offer. Despite the games older age it still holds up impeccably well to current games and I would even consider this game-play and art style to be somewhat timeless. From the second you boot up the game you are hit with the intense concept of retro-futurism and it is a concept that suits the game’s story well. While this seems to be a main concept of the game there also seems to be an underlying theme of the theory surrounding paradoxes and time loops as well as multiple realities and parallel universes. The story as a whole starts in a form of medias res as you return to the beginning at the end of the game but in a different reality. The circular storytelling allows for the narrative to highlight these alternate realities existing and its ramifications on the characters and their true identities. While the ending becomes increasingly difficult to follow the actual implications on the characters and their development is not only well thought out but also thoroughly enjoyable. Overall I had an amazing time playing this game and found it increasingly enjoyable each time I picked back up. After all that jesus is happy to give this his first 10/10 burgers.

D1 so spoopy -a hellscape as some may say- invisaboys everywhere and no remorse. devs very nice people but hate joy. game crushes all hope in the soul and in super mean. jesus gives this 9.7/10 burgers. harder than darksouls, @ me on that one
