A very immersive and fun tactical game to play. It's basically Fire Emblem mixed with X-Com mixed with Slay the Spire.

Characters all get their own spotlight, combat is addicting, and lots of love has gone into the development of this game. Absolutely recommend if you are a fan of strategic RPGs, Marvel, and snarky comments!

Short and enjoyable game. Balance is pretty skewed in that the end game is extremely easy. You can forge all the final weapons and then can only use them for the boss fight mainly, which isn't even needed. Great lore and world building, but the bugs are a hassle throughout. Still a great pick-up though

The game is SEVERELY unbalanced in its current state. Coming from playing many deck battlers out there like Vault of the void/Ring of pain/roguebook/slay the spire, those games have very fair balance in how they're laid out. In this game's current form, enemies on the first or even second encounter of a run have the ability to just end your run instantly.

RNG is TERRIBLE right now. The game assigns you 20 cards at random for your "starter" deck with absolutely no synergy at all. There's no actual way to deck build, or start a run knowing what cards you will get. Even worse, there's no mulligan system in place. I had a run where my hand was just 5 shield (defend), which normally in other games wouldn't be much a hassle, but attack cards from your opponent do more damage than you can possibly defend. There also is almost next to no healing in this game so far, and after every "boss", you also don't heal, whereas in other games you can try to gamble not wasting potions to see if you can narrowly beat the boss to enter the next chapter fully refreshed.

And don't even talk about Meta progression. The currency to buy meta progression for future runs is tied to each individual faction, and is very steep. There is LOTS of grinding you have to do. And the lack of an undo button just feels terrible. I accidentally clicked a button that made me buy "art" from the gallery which costs META PROGRESSION POINTS. And now that's just wasted progress.

This game is severely frustrating right now and also has lots of notable bugs.

Very solid gameplay that's fun and rewarding, with meaningful choices. The best thing about the game though is the developers who are extremely active in the discord and really take the feedback from community.

UI is being worked on and small QoL patches are in the midst. Those are the main grievances people have.

The gameplay itself is really engaging and requires you to micromanage lots of resources, although you never feel overwhelmed. Synergies are good between all characters, and there's just so much room to grow for this game and is definitely worth checking out. The art, animation, and overall feel of the game is really engrossing.

The bird is good, the bird is cruel.
This game is amazing, so very cool.
Play at once, support these creators.
To your pain, their love shall cater.

The premise of this game is really fun. I've been playing card battlers/roguelite deckbuilders for a long time and really enjoyed the humor, art, and general presentation of this game, but it's just plain boring.

The limitations of henchmen/lanes is really slow, and there's a lot of just dead time in the game where you wait for the round/match to finish. It's not as engaging as I'd like it to be, which is a bit unfortunate.

Coming from years of TCG experience, this game is just plain boring in its current state. The UI is super laggy and buggy, long lag times, abysmally tiny font, no tooltips for cards. It is just a horrible unpolished mess.

Example: When viewing a card's tool-tips, it would state, "After I die, create an XYZ in hand" but it doesn't state what the XYZ actually is. There is so much lacking information in this game. For example, heroes have different "mana" pools but that is never explained how that progressed through a match. Their philosophy is "learn by playing" but it's really just not worth playing like this.

There is so much love in this game from the developers and you can see it in almost every aspect of the game. Great writing, amazing art, and a great combat system really brings this all together. The music is a bit repetitive but I'm sure they're working on adding more as time goes by. The game is brutal, but is also really rewarding and encourages you to play more.

The game has really great writing, and gameplay mechanics that really make it stand out from other card battlers. I find the dialogue battles a slog but its a really cool touch that some may find awesome. The devs are constantly in communication with the community and I think this game is really worth at least trying out

This game has amazing tactical gameplay, but is just SO SLOW. It's painstaking how you may often wait up to 1-2 minutes every time its the enemies turn. That fact in itself just makes the game such a slog to play through. The RNG is just RNG, and some people can't handle that fact. But overall, as great as the core mechanics are, the quality and bugs are just too much to look over. Its hard to see where things are, and you get punished because of things that the developers overlook such as camera angles not showing you important details of where indicators are. It's just not worth it even for the $5 sale I got it for.
