Early Access Review
I'll be honest, this game is so unfinished. Simple things like being able to reload at any time aren't even available, you can only reload when your mag is empty. I'd say the one positive thing about this game is that the movement feels nice, but very unnecessary. This is sadly another rogue like that offers nothing new but instead downgrades on previous games that have already been around. It only took the tutorial and playing one run to understand the loop cycle of this game.

It's also worth noting that this game would benefit from a slide feature heavily. If you could combo sliding after dashing or jumping into the air with your ability the movement would feel very smooth. Possibly even a sprint, this game only offers the dash and jump. There is no sprinting and no sliding.

Shooting the main weapon feels very unrewarding as far as animation. From what I could tell there isn't a single enemy in the game that gets a flinch effect of any kind, you just kind of mindlessly shoot them as they continue to move forward with nothing to indicate that you are mag dumping them other than the fact that their health bar is depleting. As someone who enjoys this genre, I don't particularly enjoy writing a negative review, but even so, the game being so early, it just doesn't feel complete in the slightest.

The closest comparison of this game is probably Arcadegeddon, a rogue like that I genuinely did enjoy. This to me is just a much worse version of that. Maybe with a lot more time in the oven I could see this game being fun, but in its current state, it is just a very bland and boring rogue like that offers nothing new in the genre.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League to me is truly a very good game. The story thus far has been fun, the characters are very well made, the voice acting is great, the writing has been really good and most importantly to me, THE GAMEPLAY IS VERY VERY FUN.

People have been complaining that this game is live service and to me these are people who truly needed to find something to complain about. If you are unable to be online and purchase a $70 dollar game on your NEXT GEN console or PC, your priorities are wrong. Not to mention that the only micro transactions in this game are cosmetic.

Now not everything about this game is perfect. The missions can be a bit repetitive at times, but at the same time, so has every other superhero game ever. Even the Arkham games had the same style missions throughout the game, it’s no different here. The only thing setting it apart is that you are incentivized to replay and grind these missions to attain better gear and keep leveling up, as the end game seems to be pretty long and full of grinding levels.

I also saw some people saying that the boss fights were to easy, now let me say something. These boss fights aren’t supposed to be incredibly hard, they never have been in games like this, so I’m not sure why people had this expectation. While I haven’t encountered the FINAL boss yet, I will say every boss fight apart from Superman so far, was very well made and fun to play. That’s not to say Superman’s fight wasn’t harder than the others, because it was, but it didn’t feel as well made as say, the Batman fight, where I think that shines visually and it’s a high point in the game for me.

Overall though, this game is very much worth giving a try for yourself, whether that be on release or when it goes on sale, people should enjoy this game. Sad to see how badly reviewed it’s got because of Arkham fanboys who have yet to even play the game. People were quick to jump on the hate bandwagon after seeing leaked cutscenes with no context to how it happened or anything and that is upsetting as someone who enjoys story mode games. This may not be your cup of tea and you may not like it as much as me, but the mass negativity around this game is just so sad.

83/100

SIDE NOTE: This game runs 100x better when you lock the frames to 80, maybe even 120 haven't tried. I don't need 500 fps on this game, and locking it to 80 for me made the game run VERY smooth and have almost no lag on the max settings.

Starfield might be one of the most miserable 3 hours of a game I have ever played. Not a single moment of that time was memorable or fun to play. Not sure how anyone could find themselves enjoying this absolute landfill of a game, just trash piled on more trash. Positive reviews of this game should be considered slander on the grounds of "Bethesda Male Genitalia Riders".

I died once in this game, and when I did, I uninstalled the game. After dying I was forced to walk literal kilometres back the mission I was already at and realized at that point, I couldn't handle it anymore.

Combat ---> Boring
Exploration ---> Boring
Story ---> Boring
Fun Potential ---> Non Existent
Flying Spaceship ---> Boring + Pointless

Starfield = 1/10

I am really not sure how when I scrolled down, I saw positive reviews. I played this game for nearly an hour, and felt like I ran in circles chasing something that wasn't there, LIKE A GHOST. The mechanics in this game make me sick to my stomach as well. I've never wanted to play a game less after walking for 5 seconds and wobbling with such terrible screen shake. I think I would have more fun in the middle of a tsunami trapped on a cargo ship than playing this sickening simulator they call horror. Super spooky game I guess if you don't care to take 10 hours of your life to unlock a single lock, to go to another lock, to then find a key to another lock, which leads to three more locks, that probably lead to another locked door. Lock after lock after lock, and the only scare I got was a tall slim man walking past my screen for literally 1 second. Couldn't recommend this any less. I honestly think I'd prefer to play Smite at this point, and Smite is actually one of the worst games I've ever played in my days of the online video game scene.

You may be getting to the end of this review wondering, why did this loser write an entire essay for this $35 game he refunded. Well, because I'm out of content, and needed to entertain my braindead viewers while I waited to play Fall Guys. So instead of promoting my Twitch like a loser, I'm going to instead promote, PLAYING A DIFFERENT HORROR GAME. FIND SOMETHING DIFFERENT. THIS GAME ISNT IT. TAKE YOUR $35 ELSEWHERE.

Such a breath of fresh air to the survival genre. Great mix of PvP and PvE inside of a pretty large map that has a lot of variety. The bosses in the game also give a great mechanic for getting new abilities and being able to craft more new things after each boss. While it may be a linear progression, it's not hard to fight these bosses with a group of people or a couple of friends. For the most part, if you aren't on a full loot server, the vast majority of people don't kill on sight which is nice, and you are able to actually make some friends and kill some bosses together in game with other clans.

As far as a full loot server, I only had one experience with one and I was hit offline after killing someone and taking their loot, so I didn't go back to full loot!

I'll be continuing to play the game and I hope they keep updating and adding new things as it is in early access. True potential for a new game that's $20. Feels like it has more effort put in than some newer AAA titles as of late.
