This game is absolutely beautiful. Although it felt a little slow starting and hand holdy this quickly changed. The story is so wonderful and full of emotions, certainly some parts I could relate to in my own life. I honestly cannot recommend this game enough. Everything about it just felt smooth and wonderful.

I've seen this get lots of negative reviews online especially after the launch date was moved back, personally I've been loving this game. It's a very simple slice of hobbit life game. It's the ultimate low-energy cosy game. Running around, foraging or growing ingredients to make meals and host food parties, whilst also doing little tasks for your friends in the village. There's no combat and there's plenty of story. Could this game be seen as "boring" when compared to other cosy games? Yes...but if you're after a simple yet aesthetically pleasing game to decorate your home, lose yourself in easy to follow story and cook for your hobbit friends then you're in the right place. A similar but by no means anywhere near the same game to compare it too is the home world in Disney Dreamlight Valley without having to collect the people who live with you. I honestly think it's going to be a game where you need to take the reviews online with a pinch of salt / avoid completely and play the game yourself to make your own decision. I love it and don't regret my purchase!
