Implementing DRM on games people already purchased to (try and ultimately fail to) prevent modding is never gonna fly with the PC community, and I believe it is a violation of consumer rights. Valve should not allow this. They have a policy that DRM needs to be disclosed on the Store page, and no Enigma DRM was disclosed when I bought this. I hope Capcom is listening to this feedback here and puts away their pride.

Capcom have been a well-praised publisher on PC recently, and because of their good choices PC has become their most profitable platform. No need to damage that reputation. They're clearly taking something personally (the nude mod incident at the fighting tournament) that nobody in their right mind would ever blame on Capcom. Mods are part of PC gaming. Embrace it, and move on.

Implementing DRM on single player games to (try and ultimately fail to) prevent modding is never gonna fly with the PC community, and I hope Capcom is listening to this feedback before they attempt it with their other existing games or their upcoming releases.

Easily the best AAA VR experience I've had so far, and a wonderful entry into the Half Life series. It took some guts to get through it, but I was glad I persisted.

Half Life 2 wasn't what I'd call a horror game. It was more of an "atmospheric" game with some scary elements intertwined. So initially, I was a bit surprised that this game is definitely a lot freakier. A lot of that has to do with being a VR title and that means having enemies literally up in your face.

But you do get used to it after a while, and my biggest tip is to run face first into danger and just let things attack you a few times until you are desensitized to the danger, and your brain begins to realize these things can't hurt you.

That said, I felt that they did a great job of breaking up the tenser moments with some great puzzle solving and witty humor (Russel a.k.a. Murray from Flight of the Conchords is the best!)

Everything was top notch. The gunplay, puzzles, animations, environments, etc. It has that classic Valve quality that makes you wish they made more games.

This was a great experience on the Quest via Air Link (and later on, I switched to the new Steam Link app for Quest which worked equally well).

A big recommend and a must-play for Half Life + Portal fans. Spoilerific ending is glorious. Just know that it spoils a key plot point from Half Life 2, so best to play that plus its expansions first.

Excellent survival-craft game with great co-op. Has difficulty options to make it as relaxing or intense as you want.

Early Access Review
90s turn timer ruined this game. There needs to be an option for unlimited turn timer when playing with friends and wanting to think strategically. It turns what should be a fun game into something stressful. You can't shoot the breeze while playing with a buddy.

An excellent celebration of the best rhythm platformer video game series out there.

For me, it's too abstract, too obtuse. It tries hard to be artistic but leaves out the fun factor. I didn't know what was going on or where to go. It just didn't feel grounded or cohesive to me.

Still going through this game but at 32 hours I feel it’s time to go ahead and write an early review. I freakin’ love this game. What a unique product. The combat system is very satisfying and fresh. And yes, I really dig all the extra stuff that happens in between. The hangouts, banter, upgrading, and exploration around the abbey.

It’s a strange combo, and I suppose if you really hate dialogue and character development you may want to skip through those parts (which you can easily do). But I find that it breaks the pacing up in a great way.

Perhaps the biggest tragedy is that this game doesn’t seem to have met sales expectations on the front end of things. But I think it absolutely deserves your time, attention, and money if the above sounds good to you. Hopefully it will have a long “tail” and meet these expectations in the long run because there really isn’t much else like this and I’d love to see more of it.

Aside from Elden Ring, this would probably be my GotY for 2022.
