Great game, integrates rogue-like elements with certain setpieces/missions distributed throughout for high replayability. Great enemy variety and fun bosses; makes you actually think on the higher difficulties. Diverse build variety with a lot of fun configurations you can create with different character classes.

The stories of each of the worlds are quite interesting, though the story of the over-world is quite generic and boring (though thankfully this is something that takes a backseat throughout the game). Well-done, memorable soundtrack and good graphics (although I'm not a huge fan of the DLSS requirement). Grinding for parts or abilities can also be a bit of a slog, though enjoyable.

Early Access Review
addictive timesink. destroys any productivity. but very good game; i prefer to factorio because of the ease of logistics (logistics drones/vessels which fly around between planets and areas).

Best Yakuza game. Unironically.

While the story has a lot of contrivances in typical Yakuza fashion, the core cast are the strongest in the series due to the focus on a party of friends rather than a stoic individual as before; the narrative is very enjoyable, if in my opinion a little weaker than previous entries.

What catapults this entry to the top of all the games in the series I've played is the gameplay. The JRPG elements introduced actually complement a lot of mechanics better than action ever did -- all the collectibles, weapons, and gear from previous yakuza games have actual purpose now; substories now directly convey benefits to your character, with choices therein typically being "flavours" that determine which of Kasuga's attributes are to be buffed rather than dummy choices with unfavourable results. The side content is varied and surprisingly fleshed out, with many silly minigames to sink time into (typically with rewards to improve combat prowess in some way).

The turn-based nature of combat is enjoyable and some inputs are still required in timing blocks and buffing attack damage, for those who would like to be rewarded for their mechanics. The moves are in line with the zany nonsense expected of the Yakuza series, explained as embellishment borne of Kasuga's bold imagination, and make for great entertainment in choosing one's strategy for each combat scenario.

The main criticism I would level at the game is that due to a bug (hopefully patched soon) the English version fails to display the weakness indicator on the targeting reticule for attacks, meaning that each combat encounter is typically started with turns wasted probing the enemy to determine which of the damage types they are weak to. A lesser criticism is that while not required to finish the main story, completionist tasks such as upgrading all weapons to their max levels require ludicrous levels of grinding to accomplish.

Oh, and the music is also pretty damn good. Speaking of audio: while the English dub is quite good, there is no comparison to the talent and direction of the original voiceover. Should you purchase the game and can tolerate subtitles, I highly recommend selecting Japanese in the options to have what I would hope to be the best experience with the game.

CS:GO Review
A game with strong mechanics that can be refined endlessly through playing, where the progress is tangible with skills accrued able to be transferred to other games. Queuing alone can be disastrous depending on the quality of teammates, so ensure that you lobby with friends you can rely on.

Dark and disturbing, this game's corruption of the classic story of Alice in Wonderland captures an unsettling atmosphere that translates well to a 3D platformer with character and clear effort put into its presentation. Severely underrated and with a great soundtrack, the only criticism I could level is that the gameplay, while good, does not even approach the sheer quality of its visual design.

Very fast paced action; one hit kill creates a sense of urgency and adrenaline rush; elements of strategy are very present.

Killed a shotgun-wielding man with my bare fists 10/10.
