The HD Remaster of a much beloved game, Grandia is the story of a young boy who wants nothing more than to be an adventurer and follow in his fathers footsteps. To see the world.

He finds mysterious ruins and discovers the existence of an ancient civilization which had long since been forgotten in myth and legend which takes him on a path of self discovery and the greatest adventure he could ever have imagined.

With the help of his friends along the way, he will battle both friend and foe to reach the undiscovered truth of how this once great civilization suddenly ended and was lost to the passing of time.

A Turn-Based JRPG which was very popular in the 90's. However, the inclusion of the action bar created a better term for strategic gameplay. Coupled with a fantastic levelling system to grow your character and learn new skills over the course of your journey, this remains my favourite game and I will play it time and time again.

My only disappointment is that the HD Remaster is just a copy and paste of the original with some touched up graphics. The inclusion of a "hard mode" would have made this experience so much greater.
