I quite enjoyed this game, played through in about 27 hours on the normal difficulty, which was pretty easy but it was relaxing and scratched my itch for a Fallout like game. I did all the missions I found, but didn't try and 100% the game.
The story was pretty good, gunplay was ok, companions were not annoying. I missed one companion and when I got her later in the game, her gun was doing about 5,000 DPS. Not sure if I missed something, the highest I found was about 2000 DPS. Not sure if a bug or just because I added her to my party later. Made the last bit of the game and the DLC pretty easy.
Worth playing.

Fun game!

I don't play many horror games but this one was just ok. Not really scary after some early-ish jump scares.
I'm glad it wasn't longer, it took me just under 5 hours, but the walking is so slow and some of the chapters are quite repetitive (Chapter 3...). So, probably still worth playing. I've got the dark revival as well and enjoyed this one enough, so will give that a go at some point too.

pretty fun

I didn't know much about this game going in. It's obviously older now but the story and voice acting are good.
I didn't play with any graphics mods, but it looked OK and was fine for the 10 hours I was playing (although the menu is messed up and hard to read, the game itself was fine).
There are also some annoying unskipable cut scenes as its an older game. It's also got some set camera views that feel weird in the modern day of third person action games.

I think this is one of the better games I've played recently and hopefully it can inspire a few more similar games.
The length was good for a single play though. At the start I thought about replaying with a different character, but by the end I didn't want to go through it all again so soon. I'd love similar games that were a bit shorter to do multiple play throughs with different characters. I know I missed things and could probably have seen more of the game if I'd save scummed for rolls.
It did crash quite a lot, but I got used to quick saving.
Highly recommended

Very similar to the first game, clearing areas of demons as you move through the levels. The game feels great but I probably didn't use 1/2 the different mechanics and weapon modes and didn't really follow the story.
I'm happy with my 16 hours playing through once, I'm not going to bother replaying to get all the secrets and unlocks.

Just finished the main game in about 4 hours and loved it but would have liked more levels to justify the price. Like other reviews have mentioned the entire game feels like a tutorial with everything only coming together at the end. I'd still recommend as it has some really great ideas.
I've downloaded some extra maps from the workshop which should increase the playtime a bit more.

I've had this on my wish list for a while and finally picked up a copy to give it a go.
Highly recommended and relaxing games. The puzzles are pretty simple but it's very relaxing driving through the game.
Would have been good to have some information on the items that I picked up, most were stored in the bedroom but maybe I should have burned them.

I would recommend this game but as it's a bit short don't think it's worth the full price, so get it on sale.

I had no performance issues and it looked nice, I quite liked the story and the voice acting was decent. Probably enough content for the short play time, I would like to have had it expanded with some more weapons, weapon mods and more puzzles. It felt like it was missing some extra puzzles, I was happy with some basic puzzles to get a steam engine working but disappointed when there was no puzzle to get the train engine going.
