The art style and music are utterly stunning, creating such a specific and unique tone that you forget you're in a post-apocalyptic world. The violence, too, becomes more shocking in this aesthetic context. The twitchy difficulty can be a barrier to entry, but it's a journey well worth taking.

As a fan of the original Alice, I could not be more disappointed. Despite being a buggy, crashing mess, it's also a lazily crafted linear platformer with shoddy jumping/dodging mechanics, dismal writing, disinterested voice acting and weak level design. When a fetch quest transitioned straight into a slide puzzle for the second time, I knew that EA Syndrome had firmly taken hold. What a shame that American McGee could never truly follow up on his first outing with Alice.

Ultimate Werewolf meets The Thing in a deviously simple and very fun multiplayer game. Groups of ten recommended, Discord comms essential! There's server issues given the huge sudden demand but given the decision to make the game live service, this will certainly improve.

Fantastic, brutal strategic game with permadeath features and a beautiful, elevating soundtrack. The character building elements are just enough to let your build your own imagined narratives, and the punishing gameplay means you're always learning new tactics and new lessons that will lead you to victory... next time.
