If you're a Metal Head get this game.

If not then you might not like it. Also: You should feel ashamed.

It’s the illegitimate child of Minecraft and Team Fortress.

Simple game play with a good amount of customization to bring your character in line with your play style, but this game shines with the audio. A relatively simple plot is brought to life with great voice acting and the soundtrack is simply beautiful. This game is a treat like Limbo or Braid, if you liked either then do yourself a favor and give this game a try.

Though I was pretty much into shooters from the moment they started (Wolfenstein and Doom) Unreal Tournament 2004 solidified my love for shooters. This is one of the last stands of the classic arena based shooter. And thanks to the community you can enjoy thousands of custom characters, maps, game modes, vehicles, and weapons. No prestige grind, no rank ups, just pure unrealistic action in one of the greatest shooters of all time. If you enjoy Team Fortress 2, you owe it to yourself to at least give this classic a try.

Not crap. For a Sonic game that’s pretty darn impressive.

Tripwire's masterpiece, there is a reason they won the "Make Something Unreal Contest" and got the lisence to make this game. This is a fine example of a class based survival game that can be player online or off.

Free-to-play, constantly updated, and all items that you pay for in DLC can be aquired free by simply playing the game and crafting the free loot you randomly get. If you can resist the siren call of instant hats that is.

An RTS that concentrates less on base building and more on the combat. The single-player campaign isn't even a RTS but more of a RPG, heavily relying on the player to deploy a force and play each unit to their strengths while avoiding or using other squads to make up for their weaknesses.

In multi-player each side deploys squads that size depends on the race. The elite Space Marines only deploy in groups of 3 or 4 while the Ork hordes swarm in at around 6 to 10. Unit building relies not on “additional pylons” but tactical resource points across the very open map, ensuring that each online battle is a constant struggle over the very non-linear battlefield. Just don't practice with bots though, they are dense.

Also: Steve Blum voices approximately half the cast.
