Please do yourself a favor and get Payday: The Heist instead, the game in its current state sucks. I've been playing the game since 2013 (starting out on PS3 then moving onto PC in January 2014) and have more hours clocked into the game than I probably should have. I have played enough to say that this game took a complete nose dive in quality over the years and is an overall worse product than it was at release.

Post Spring Break 2015, the game's updates began to slowly dwindle in quality. Crimefest 2015 was where I knew that the game would never regain its former glory, not only because of the addition of microtransactions and the P2W skins at the time, but the gameplay had been becoming more and more mind-numbing with all these stupid perk decks, multishot RPG's, and balance changes being added to the point where I feel like I am being lobotomized when I'm playing. And I cannot begin to explain how much the whole "take down the illuminati," COD Zombies-esque plot makes the blood rushing through my veins hot enough to boil hotdogs.

I do not regret my time spent in this game, the time I spent during the golden years of Payday 2 were some of the most fun I have ever had playing video games. Thinking about how much this game has dropped in quality does not make me sad anymore, it makes me angry. Like a father seeing his son grow up to be a drug addict.

Play Payday: The Heist or GTFO instead, both of these games were made by some of the original people that made early Payday 2 feel like magic.
