New steam deck not charging, turns off when unplugged, wont boot without being plugged in.

Controls stuck on last directional input for a few Seconds constantly

3 days ago, I noticed that my controls are acting weird. Every 30 sec. or so my last directional Input (D-Pad, both sticks, both touchpads) gets stuck for several seconds. At this point no other Input is registered. Then everything works like it should, after about 30 seconds it happens again. It occurs more often when you do no inputs for a short while. Why isn’t the Deck a proper hybrid?

Just wondering why the Deck doesn’t dock and display on a TV/monitor as fluidly as the Nintendo Switch. Why did Valve design the dock with that ugly stupid usb cable that loops over the a deck? Why not put a ubc port on the bottom of the deck and let it slide into the dock like the switch does?...

Inputs for windows exe running proton not working

Last year I tried getting a windows game from 2003 to run on my steam deck (I haven't installed windows on it) using proton.
